Read.me VESA

The following information covers running Jutland in the Super VGA mode. The VGA version does not require an external driver.

Included in this directory are VESA Super VGA BIOS Extension video drivers that can be used to allow Jutland access to the SVGA graphics mode of your video card.

We recommend that you check the drivers that come with your video card. If you cannot find an appropriate driver, try the drivers provided in this directory. To use any of the drivers, simply pick the one for your video card and run it before you play Jutland. (From the DOS prompt change to this directory, type the name of the file and press Enter. The driver will run automatically. Then run Jutland.)

In some cases, there are two or more drivers from a manufacturer. Also some drivers can be used on other video cards. For example, the TLIVGSA.COM driver in the TSENG directory works well with most TSENG 4000-based video cards.

If your card did not include a VESA driver installed on the video card or none of the drivers in this directory will help, please contact the manufacturer of your video card for assistance.
