    BATCH FILES FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT

these batch files unless you are prompted to do so by SSI
    technical support.

    HINTS
    1. In the Dungeons of Al Katraz, there is a very mean and nasty
Ettin. Remember, the best way to defeat a very powerful
monster such as this is to retreat to safety and better plan
his defeat. There is one such place in the dungeon where this
     can be accomplished.

    2. The Sundazzle shard has been known to work wonders on
unsuspecting enemies, such as Ettins, or Ogrimas.

    3. It is not wise to put huge, movable statues on flying carpets.

    4. Although the hero is told that he is ready to train for a new move,
he will not actually be able to until he reaches Bandar al-Sa'adat.

    5. Note that the minor earth elementals can not harm the hero
physically when the proper potion has been imbibed, but their
ranged attack is a little different.

    6. We suggest not using the lock (Alt) key in conjunction with the
mouse. It can oftentimes be very unwieldy.

    7. When using the lock key, note that the direction is not permanently
locked. To change facing, simply move the hero left or right, and then
again (for a 180 degree facing change).

    8. Don't stand in front of any chests when the hero is waiting for the
hermit of Shibaz to arrive at his location.
