Please note the following changes and additions to the manual:-

Major Install
Selecting Major Install will copy all the ground picture files to your
hard drive. This will result in a minor improvement in speed when the
pictures are called up.

Changing your sound card
If you change your sound card at a future date then type Setsound from
the CM2 directory to configure your new card.
If you wish to skip the intro then type CM2 from the directory where
the game is installed, otherwise type GO.

Quick Start
This only appears after you have saved your first game.

Auto Mode
This icon appears on the upper left of the screen. The default is `off'.
Setting it to `on' means that the on-screen messages will pause before
moving on. You can still react to offers and so forth by hitting the
appropriate key, though you will need to be quick. This may be useful
during the Close Season.

Arranging a friendly
Click on the Fixtures and Results icon from the Squad Screen and then on the
Full Season Calender icon. After you have decided whether you want a home or
away match you will then be prompted to select a team to play. Avaliable dates
(if any) will then be displayed. To select a date just click on the line and
then confirm. Repeat these steps to arrange more friendlies.

Player Positions
The abbreviation SW indicates that the player can play in the position
of Sweeper.

Apply for a new job
Click on the Manager Info icon and then click on Job News. To apply for
a job, click on the name of any team that do not have a manager. You
will then be taken to their Squad Screen where you click on the Apply
icon on the upper right of the screen.

Match Commentary
If you are playing without sound, hitting the space bar will speed up the
match commentary.

Match Tactics
You can specify runs that a player will make during the game by going
to the Match Tactics screen, locating the pitch and then right clicking
on a players name. Holding the right mouse button down, drag the mouse
and a line will appear. This will indicate the direction of the run a
player will make during the game. Let go of the mouse when you are
satisfied with the run. You may change this at any time using the same
method. You will find that players who make such runs will expend
their stamina more quickly.

The Scouts
The scouts are located on the Domestic Based icon on the Player Search
screen. Toggle this icon to find them.

Aerial Ground Pics
The aerial pictures of the Hull, Fulham, Brentford and Middlesboro'
grounds were supplied by Premier Image. They have similar pictures of
most league grounds in their library. For more info call them on 0181
461 4214.

Intro Problems

As the intro is in 16 bit colour on a 640 x 480 pixel screen, it will only
playback on video cards that support this mode. The majority of video cards
manufactured in the last 3 years will support this.

The intro will only play with sound on Pentium machines and above. On all
other machines it will play without sound. If you think your machine is
powerful enough to play the intro with sound, type

	intro 1

at the DOS prompt to force sound to be played.

The intro may slowdown significantly on old machines or on single speed CD-ROM
drives. Unfortunately, the only way around this problem would be to upgrade
your hardware.

If you have any problems with the intro, we suggest starting the
game by typing CM2, which will skip the intro and go straight into the game.

Background Pictures.

If you wish to use your own pictures for the backgrounds, they are 640x480
with a 64 bit palette PCX file. Just take the picture you want to use and give
them the names of background pictures you want to replace.
