INSTRUCTIONS ON USING PSYCHO PINBALL WINDOWS FILES:-

You can customize your Windows environment to have special Psycho
wallpaper in the background, and to make Psycho noises instead of
the standard system sounds. Here's how :

1/ To use your new Psycho Pinball wallpaper, first of all boot up
Windows. Then select the group "Main", then "Control Panel",
and finally "Desktop". A screen should appear giving you the
option to change various things about the look of your setup.
Half way down the page you should see a section entitled
"Wallpaper", and a default filename, or "none". Click on the
arrow beside the name, and a list of all .BMP files in your
Windows directory appears. The Psycho ones have a prefix of PP
and B or S. PPB means that this is a big picture, and will take
lots of memory. PPS means that it is a small picture that should
be tiled to fill the screen. Four of the PPS pictures only use
10 colours, and will work on a 16 colour Windows setup - all the
rest will need a 256 colour setup.

2/ To use this feature you must have a sound card installed and
setup for use under Windows - see Windows manual for details.
O.K. Now, to set up your new sounds. Again, boot up Windows,
go to "Main", then "Control Panel" and finally "Sound". Now
you should see a menu system, with descriptions of Windows
events on the left hand side, and .WAV filenames on the right.
All you have to do is match up the events to sounds of your
choice. Again, the Psycho sounds have the prefix of PP. To
listen to them, just select one and click on "Test".
