Trouble-Shooting:
-----------------

Problem: Sound is garbled in Talking ABC's

Solution: Be sure that you have COMPLETELY exited Windows.
Just clicking on the DOS Prompt won't work.

Problem: You get a message that there
          is insufficient memory.

Solution: Instead of starting with
          "MENU" start with "NOSOUND"

Problem: The computer stops responding
          and hangs.

Solution: Start using "NOSOUND" instead
          of "MENU". Clone soundcards
          are sometimes not as
          compatible as one would
          wish and can cause this
          problem.

Problem: Word Rescue or Math Rescue
         runs REALLY slowly.

Solution: Someone has accidentally set
the Joystick to "YES" but you
do not have a joystick. (The
          program is waiting for the
          joystick to respond but it
          never does!). Go into the
          menu and choose Joystick (or
          Options/Joystick) and choose
          NO. That turns off joystick
          checking.

Problem: The program says you do not
         have the right kind of
         video card.

Solution: This is pretty unlikely if you
          have a cdrom drive. Older
          computers without EGA or VGA
(or EGA with not enough video
          ram), will give this message.
          Unfortunately, there is
          nothing to do except upgrade
          your graphics card (or
          computer!).
