		Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition (WIN95/DOS)

If you are experiencing any problems with Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition, please
take some time to read this technical supplement before calling our technical
support number.

Windows95 Users:

Bust A Move is a DOS based game but will run fine under Windows95. Any
problems you experience with Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition will probably not
involve Windows95 configurations.

Memory Management(DOS Users):

If you are having problems with Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition, they may be
related to how your memory is allocated. Outlined below are some procedures
for configuring your computer's memory.

For Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition to function properly, we recommend that MS-
DOS have a total of at least 500K of conventional memory available. The more
conventional memory the merrier, but we have had success in running Bust-A-
Move-2: Arcade Edition at this setting. You can check the amount of memory you
have by typing MEM [enter] at the DOS prompt (C:\>). The number after "Largest
executable program size" is the amount of conventional memory you currently
have.

If you are experiencing any type of memory error (i.e. memory allocation, fatal
errors, etc.), please execute the following instructions:

Press the F8 key when the screen displays "STARTING MS-DOS". If you are
using DOS 6.2 or higher, you will be asked to confirm all of the drivers that need
to be loaded and processed in your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files. If
you are uncertain as to which drivers should be loaded, refer to the
CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT file examples in this supplement, and/or to
your hardware manuals. Note that you may also use a DOS boot disk to simplify
the start up process. Refer to the DOS Boot Disk Instructions section.

OUTSTANDING ISSUES
Listed below are some known problems with Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition. If
you are experiencing a problem that is not on the list of known problems, please
continue reading before calling customer support.

Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition has problems with the following configurations:

1. Bust A-Move-2: Arcade Edition has a sound configuration problem with the
InterWave 32 sound card. The game returns an error stating: SND_init: Digital sound
hardware not found. This error occurs in both native DOS and in a Windows 95 DOS
box environment. Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition uses the Miles sound drivers which do
not support the InterWave32.

2. PCs that use the Aztech Sound Galaxy 16 (it's common in Packard Bell PCs) may get
an error when running Bust-A-Move-2: Arcade Edition from a DOS prompt. This should
not occur when running the game out of a Windows 95 DOS box. It is recommend that
you run this out of a Windows DOS box to avoid this error.

 3. The game doesnt run when using a Cyrix GX video card. SciTechs Display Doctor
may not be compatible for use with this card.

If you experience problems setting up your sound card, try setting the sound
settings manually, instead of using automatic detection. At a DOS prompt (C:\>)
type SET and use the settings displayed in the sound setup program.

SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T1
(your soundcard setting should look similar to this one)
