	 PSINet's Windows 95(tm)
	   InterRamp Enabler
	     Beta Software

This software runs in Windows 95(tm). Therefore it will
ONLY install on a computer running Windows 95(tm). Run
the setup.exe to install this software.

You can use PSINet's InterRamp Enabler Beta software to
set up Windows 95(tm) for an InterRamp account. If you
do not have an InterRamp account, you can also use this
software to sign up for one.

1> If you do not have an account:

a> Choose the first option, "Run Instant InterRamp
to get a new account", in the first page of the
application then click the Next button.

b> Fill in your contact and billing information
           in the next two pages.

c> In the following page, "Set Modem and Dial
Properties", select or install a modem and set
the dialing options then click Next.

d> Click the Connect button on the next page to
dial PSINet and obtain an InterRamp account.

        e> Go to step 5.

2> If you have an account and you have a configuration
(CFG) file like the file Instant InterRamp produces:

a> Choose the second option, "Open an existing
configuration information file made by Instant
InterRamp", in the first page of the application
           then click the Next button.

b> Type in the name of or browse for the InterRamp
configuration information file and type in the
password for the InterRamp account then click
           the Next button.

c> The data can be edited if necessary by checking
the "Edit data" check box on the next page.

        d> Go to step 5.

4> If you have an account and do not have a configuration
	file:

a> Choose the third option, "Make a new InterRamp
configuration file from an existing InterRamp
account", in the first page of the application
           then click the Next button.

b> Type in the information for your InterRamp account
in the spaces provided on the next page then click
           the Next button.

c> Click the Save button in the "Save As" dialog box
to save the information you entered (change the
file name first if you desire).

        d> Go to next step.

5> For all of the above cases, the last page is the same.
It is for setting up your InterRamp Dial-Up Connection.

a> Connection Name -- the name that will be displayed
with the connection icon in the Dial-Up Networking
folder of My Computer. Set this field to whatever
you want it to be called.

b> Connection Device -- the device (most likely a
modem) that will be used to connect to your
InterRamp account. If there are more than one
installed on your machine, you can choose which
           one to use here.

c> Connection Type -- currently, there are ISDN and
V32bis phone numbers. Select the one you are going
to use to set the phone numbers displayed below this
           field to the associated numbers.

NOTE: The whole phone number which may have included
country codes and area codes is displayed below this
field in the border of box labeled "InterRamp Phone
Number:". If this application was used to sign up for
your InterRamp account, the phone numbers displayed
will have an area code only if it is different than the
area code for your phone number in your contact
information - i.e. if the InterRamp phone number is
long distance from the home phone number you previously
entered. The application attempts to separate the phone
number into three fields: country code, area code and
phone number. These are then displayed in the fields
within the box (see description below).

d> Phone Number -- list of InterRamp phone numbers.
Choose the one you would like to use to connect to
	   InterRamp.

e> Country -- if the whole phone number included a
country code, it is displayed here. If this field
is blank, please select your country even if the
call is not going to be long distance.

f> Area Code -- if the whole phone number included an
area code, it is displayed here.

An icon labeled with the name you give the connection
will then be in the Dial-Up Networking folder of My
Computer. Use it to connect to your InterRamp account.
