  Playing The Simulation.

The simulation MUST be run using one of the batch files included.
Use S3HI.BAT if your video card uses the S3 chipset and is a Pentium
Use S3LOW.BAT if your video card uses the S3 chipset and is a 486
Use VESAHI.BAT if you have any other video card and a Pentium
Use VESALOW.BAT if you have any other video card and a 486

NB The hi-detail option will run on a 486, but when action gets
intense (and it will) the frame rate will slow down considerably.

  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
486DX66/2 with VLB or PCI Vesa 1.2 video card. 4Mb RAM
Joystick (Recommended) Keyboard or Mouse flight control.
Soundblaster or 100% compatible sound card.
Recommended system Pentium 60 with S3 video card.
Frame rates on a P133 16 Mb RAM 25 FPS with S3 video card.

The simulation is straight forward, with an open ended mission, where the
player can attack the enemy in varying ways. You can attack the enemy head
on, or try to use the advantage of having wingmen.

Primary role is Combat Air Patrol (CAP) Although ground attacks can be
performed once you have reduced enemy air cover over the target areas.

From your takeoff point, enemy positions are North, North East, and
East. The base to the East is a 'Flanker Nest' so that's were to go for
the big dogfights! The base to the North is good for ground attack.
The base to the North East is lightly defended and a good place to practice.

You will meet SU-27 Flankers, SU-35 Super Flankers, Mig-29 and Mig-21
Friendly aircraft include. F-18 Hornet, F-14 Tomcats, C-130 and other
  Eurofighters.

  Waypoints:
100 Your start point and home base
200 Enemy oil storage and factory facility
  300 Enemy Airbase
  400 Enemy Airbase
500 Flanker Nest with Mig-29 support.

The simulation has an 'open' mission structure, so each time you fly the
simulation you can alter your tactics to try different ways in defeating
the enemy. (Hint: Attaching enemy hangers and parked aircraft is a good way
  to start)

As is the way in real life flying, debrief is up to the pilot on how well
you performed. Getting back to base with little damage and a few kills under
your belt is a good start. Landing, re-arming, re-fueling comes next, then
back into the action to reduce enemy capability further. If you can achieve
the point were you can fly around the bases and not be fired upon from the
air or the ground, consider the campaign won.

  Written with FST from Domark/Simis.

This simulation is obviously a 'spoof' of the excellent EF2000 by DiD
(Digital Image Design) Although a P133 is needed for EF2000 to be seen
in all it's glory, it is worth a look. The world graphics are excellent.

NB: If you have any problems running the simulation, please read the file
HELP.TXT before contacting us for advice. ( We are a VERY small company)
The answers to all known hardware problems is in that file.
The simulation is 32 bit DOS protected mode, and was designed to run under DOS
If you use Win95 we would suggest running the simulation from a DOS 6.2x boot
disk, or 'safe dos mode' NOT from a shortcut.
The simulation will run under Windows 3.1 but you will not get digital sound.

Finally, if you like the simulation and continue to use it after 21 days
PLEASE register so we can continue to produce simulations. Thanks!
Registered users will receive a personal registration screen, and upgrades
  to the simulation.

  Have Fun!
