Misc. Author Info : Ci Djervana (Shadowspawn) strikes again, and again...

Description : This file was converted from Slapme3 for Doom ][,

Which was converted from Andrew Hulme's Slapme2...

It's designed for deathmatch set around a castle

courtyard, and has some beasties added for those of

you who want them around. It also has a few good

snipe spots and two duck blinds.

Additional Credits to : Andrew J. Hulme for creating Slapme2 (Slapme3's

predecessor, which I built). Gordon Blake (That's

ROOOOOD...) for his ideas and playtesting help. To

Matthew Ayres for writing WADED. Ben Morris for

writing DCK 2.0, it filled in for some of the stuff

Waded couldn't do. And last but not least, Id for

starting this whole mess, and Raven for continuing

                         it...

Other: Since I lost ALL objects (except for teleports) in the conversion

I made a few design changes on the level. The exit to the NW duckblind is

a lot easier to run over (important if you have a slower computer). The

lighting is a little cleaned up in some places. However I like dark

cubbyholes, so you'll still see them. Now if ID would add a dank odor }:->

All weapons and ammo are in the courtyard. All health and armor are in the

castle, with the exception of some on a platform in the courtyard which is

accessed from the castle (hence no Wings of Wrath). And all items are on

platforms accessed from the courtyard. Hey, everybody has done something

original but me, till now... The reason I organized things this way is so

you have to keep moving from area to area to keep loaded up. I also added

two markers for the door to the lava room (where you get access to the NW

Duckblind), I always thought this room was too easy to get into.

If you pass this to a buddy for a Deathmatch slugfest you may not

want to let them know (at first) that the Invulnerability Ring on the

central pillar is unreachable. Let them bash their brains in a vain

attempt to get to it... (GRIN) Just make sure you give them the complete

cortdeth.zip file after you're done with them.

We are all creatures of the shadows in our hearts, I'm jst proud of it.
