Welcome to the Real Mah Jong Release 2.0. You will, no doubt,
devote an inordinate amount of time to playing this game to the
detriment of your life and everyone that you come in contact with
(none of which I can be held responsible for).

You are free to distribute the original, unaltered zip file at no
cost. Modifying any of the contents is strictly forbidden.

This program is distributed as Shareware, that is to say that the
copyright remains the property of me, the author, and if you find
that you cannot stop playing it or would like to register it
anyway, you should, if you are not to live a meaningless life of
guilt, pay me the fee for each copy that is in use.

The numbers of copies that are in use can be considered analogous
to copies of books with the program being equivalent to the book.
A book can only be read in one place at one time although it may be
passed around from person to person. This software can be installed
on as many machines as you like but you will have to pay for the
maximum number of copies that are in use at any one time - just
like a book.

For example, installation on five computers but only three ever
being used at one time means that you have to buy three licenses.

The price of a license is 10.00 (ten UK pounds).

Cheques should be made payable to `Paul Grosse', me, be in UK
currency and should be sent through the snail mail to. . .

With the cheque, I will need to know your Name and Address Details
(e-mail and snail mail). Please print these details as some of
them have to be entered into files that register the program on
your machine.

In return, you will be registered with me, sent any updated files
that you require for your copy, sent an update (or notification of
one) and offered any support by e-mail or snail mail. In addition,
you will know that with the support from your registration fee,
programmers such as myself will be able to continue to write more
programs in the future.

If you have any comments or suggestion about the game, write to me
at pagrosse@compuserve.com and I will try to take them into account
before the next version.

Enjoy playing the game - you will be able to play the real
(physical) game if you didn't already know the rules - and try to
register the game with me before your life falls apart through
neglect.

Paul Grosse.
Author of The Real Mah Jong.
