Stunt Surfer 3.3 HINTS, HINTS, HINTS! (and more hints.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay. You've read the guide. You've tried to play and gain some major
points. You jump a few times and get a few measly points. The sharky guy
comes and sinks you. The computer tells you that you are a 'Baby Boarder.'
Computers can be annoying, eh? Anyway, you've tried and tried to do at
least a simple flip. No luck? Then read on!

This document will show you six different feats that can be accomplished.
You will have to figure the other ones out on your own, or cheat and peek
at the program. Well, here they are, in random order:

FRONT FLIP:

In order to do a front flip, you have to be in mid-air, or else you'll just
fall flat on your face. First, press up or down to leap. Then press '6'
and watch. Your character may fowl up or actually flip. There is a better
chance of making it.

BACK FLIP:

Just the same as its partner flip, only you press '4' and the odds of making
it are a bit lower.

BUZZSAW:

This one would be hard to figure out. First, you have to jump. Then you have
to wait until you are falling. Once you are, press the '1' key.
There is a 50/50 chance of spinning around like crazy and getting a few
points.

ROCKET RUMBLE

Okay - first, go all the way left, then take 5 steps forward. Next, all you
have to do is press '9'.

BLURRRRR

Just like the Rocket Rumble, before anything else you have to go as far left
as you can. After that, just press the '-' key, and you ought to zoom across
so fast you can see multiple images of yourself!

SKIMMIN'

Yet again, move all the way left, but this time move one step right after
you've done this. Jump into the air using either jump, and right before you
hit the water again, press '3'.

CHOPPER TOPPER

Now here is one CHEAP move that will ALWAYS work, so if you feel lazy, use
it. Note that it takes away a small chunk of health, too. Anyway, use a super
jump and press '-' on the way up. Simple enough.

THE WAVE

Yes, you knew there had to be a stunt entitled "wave", didn't you? Anyway,
in order to perform this stunt, all you have to do is do a normal jump on
the left half of the playing area and press the asterisk key (*).

TELEPORTER

Yes! This one not only looks cool, but is great for adding stunts to your
small sized combos. Use it again and again, if you can figure out how. To
actually execute this stunt, super jump up, and repeatedly press <ENTER> on
the way down.

CRUISER

Again, move to the far left, then take 6 steps forward, and press '-'. Watch
our buddy surf right into the air!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, there are approximately 6 other stunts that we'll leave hidden for you
to find out. If you must know their names, here they are: The Inverto, The
Megaspike, Sharky Stomp, The Circler, Banzai, The Surfbomb, and last, The
Flasher. Figure them out. Most of them give you MAJOR points, and two of
them are unusual compared to the other 14 stunts.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

We figured that since you are new to the Stunt Surfer combo system, we'd show
you a few more tricks about it. Can't get more than 2 or 3 moves? Read on!

First, the best, and we mean the BEST stunt to get high combo points is the
Teleporter. This was mentioned earlier. Now, if you jump up and do the tele-
porter, you can immediately do something like a buzzsaw or flip, which will
give you at least 50 bonus points (if you don't screw up any more moves after
that one!). But in order to do another teleporter, you have to be falling
from a high height. So, do a flip or something that boosts you upwards right
after your teleport. If you succeed, you can do another teleporter, and cont-
inue the combo!

Our second tip is very useful. After each stunt you do in a combo sequence,
the success rate of your next ones goes down. So, if you do a ten-stunter,
it's going to be VERY hard to keep going. We have the answer (or a
semi-answer anyway!) Do all the harder stunts first, so you can do the easier
ones (which have less fail rate) later, when you have more chance of failing.
If you still don't get it, picture this: should a man pick up a lighter
bucket, be weakened, then pick up a heavier one, where he may have little
chance of picking up the big one? or should he pick up the heavier one, be
weakened, and then pick up the lighter one, which would feel like a reprieve?
It may seem equal, but say that both buckets weaken him the same amount. Ah.
Okay. Below are some certified & great combos for you to do.

Backflip * Teleporter * Front Flip * Teleporter (435 pts)

Buzzsaw * Front Flip * Teleporter (465 pts)

   Chopper * Chopper * Chopper * Teleporter * Front Flip * Chopper (1055 pts)

Skimmin' * Teleporter * The Wave * Front Flip * Teleporter * Buzzsaw
   (1455 pts)

That's enough - we think you'll be able to figure out monster combos without
our help now. Anyway, with these suckers you'll be able to pull out more than
a little Baby Boarder! You might just soar into the range of Show-off!
