BOOTDISK CREATION & DOCUMENTS
-----------------------------

If your system is an 8Meg one then
you are most likely having problems
due to the fact that the program
cannot free enough ram up to run properly.

This may include loss of soundfx.

Most of the problems are caused by memory
managers or unnecessary commands being
in the startup.

To help get around this problem, you should
boot from a BOOT DISK and the installer has
an option to create one.

Firstly, you`ll need to prepare a FORMATTED
floppy disk (see your manual on how to do
this, or use Windows) which has the SYSTEM
files on it (or else it will fail to boot).

To create a FORMATTED system disk from the
DOS prompt, type the following;

FORMAT A:/S (presuming your 3.5" floppy
drive is installed as A:)

WIN95 users can use the operating system,
simply clicking on the appropriate icons.

Follow the prompts in the installer when
creating your boot disk. You may also need
to read the document on setting the
sound blaster variable if the installer
failed to detect your sound-card.

The bootdisk will remove any un-necessary
commands from your startup-code and allow
the worms program to get all the ram it
needs.
