Description : Fortress 2 - Fortresses is set in and around two
Forts. This level is a brilliant for Dukematches. It's
got my "drop 'em and do 'em" buttons, underwater
sections, and other assorted goodies. But best of all
it's got those working cannons that I keep getting
E-MAIL about! Press a button and your cannons can fire
                        on your opponents fort!

This level is best played if first each player or
group of players selects a fort - either Fort Kappa
or Fort Lamda. The players then take it from there,
assaulting each others Fortresses through the various
                        entrances, and with the cannons.

This level is a lot of fun.

Like my original Fortress level I tryed to keep this
one as "olde worlde" as possible and haven't put in
any computers or such like, and have used some nice
wood and stone textures. This doesn't mean it's not
a good level though. It just means that it plays
faster than it otherwise would, and is more
                        atmospheric.

This level is the sequel to level that I got from the
web and then applied some drastic changes to. The
maker was Mark Lythgoe. When I downloaded it it was
just an empty chassis of a fort. Mark had tryed to
keep it as simple as possible so it would play fast.
I modified it and added heaps of really cool stuff to
it to make Fortress. I then added another fort and
some more nice touches, and Fortress became Fortress 2
                        - Fortresses. Unfortuanately, it doesn't play as fast
as the first Fortress - You really need at least a
P100 to get the best out if it.

Anyway thanks again to Mark Lythgoe for building the
"base" of my first Fortress level, and the base of
                        Fort Kappa in the sequel.

Additional Credits to : Mark Lythgoe, who was the original designer of the
                        base of the level.

* Other Stuff *

I'll soon be starting work on a new level. I'd appreciate E-MAIL as to what
kind of level you'd like to see, and whether or not you liked this level, and
my other levels. There is no excuse for not E-MAILing me with your comments.
They are much appreciated, and go towards my level-building-motivation.

Have fun.
