Baseball for Windows gives you the complete baseball experience, from starting your own league to making the game-winning (or game-losing) decisions on the field. Play against a friend, challenge two expert computer managers, or relax in Spectator Mode.

"It's lonnnnnnnng gone!" Hall of Fame announcer Ernie Harwell, one of the original five broadcasters inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame, has added his voice to Baseball for Windows Ernie Harwell Broadcast Blast. For 30 years, Harwell was the radio voice for the Detroit Tigers, and before that, broadcasted for the Baltimore Orioles, New York Giants, and Brooklyn Dodgers. Currently, he is heard nationally on CBS Radio and locally on PASS TV for the Tigers.

In addition to broadcast sound and ability to play any player or team in history if you have the add-on encyclopedia, Baseball For Windows Version 3.0 includes many upgrades to the original 1.0: Six times as much play-by-play and colorful language, six ballparks, 3,000 players and 150 teams, extensive drag-and-drop for ease of use, and other graphical interfaces. An on-line tutorial lets new fans easily follow step-by-step instructions to the major features while the programs are open.

Version 3.0 requires a 16-bit soundcard and is compatible with Windows 95.
