THE GAME

Definitions: The Mancala! board consists of two rows of six pits
between two large scoring pits, or mancalas. Stones are the playing pieces
of the game. Here is an overview of the board:

Mancalas:

The rules of Mancala!: There are two players. Each player controls
a row of pits, and the Mancala to his right. Stones are distributed evenly
among the pits, Upper and Lower. The object of the game is to get as many
stones in your Mancala as possible. On his turn, the player takes all the
stones from one of his pits and distributes them, one per pit, in a
counter-clockwise fashion, dropping one in his own Mancala, but not in his
opponent's. If the last stone lands in the player's own Mancala, he get
another turn. If the last stone lands in an empty pit on the player's own
side, he captures the stones in his opponent's opposing pit, taking all the
stones there, along with his own stone, and putting them in his Mancala.

For Example:

 1) The Board starts off with three in each pit.
