The Russians have slowly pulled back into Stalingrad as our forces have advanced into
the city. The Mamayev Kurgan hill is of strategic importance, as it affords an
excellent view of the city. The Russians have used this hill as an artillery
observation post and have been calling down artillery fire to harass our men. Beyond the
hill, lies the "tennis racket" area. This section of Stalingrad contains several
small factories and railroad links, and must also be secured. Your command is to drive
the Russians out of these two vital sectors of the Russian defense line. Be careful, as
the Russians may have armor in the nearby woods.
