Installing Armored Moon
-----------------------

Insert the Armored Moon CD into your CD-ROM drive. Click the Start button on the Windows 95 taskbar, and then select Run. Type in "d:setup(where "d" is the letter designation of your CD-ROM drive). The installation program should now begin. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. To run Armored Moon, click on your Windows 95 Start menu. Under the Programs menu select Microforum and then click AM.

Armored Moon can also be run directly from the CD under Windows 95, Windows 3.1, and DOS. This can be done by browsing the CD and double-clicking on the "am.exe" file. Please note that if playing the game directly, the CD will not allow you to save your game.

Playing Armored Moon
--------------------

Getting Started:

Start by building a Transporter. You can do this by left-clicking on the top drawer (right hand side of the screen) and selecting the Transporter icon (second compartment from the right). Select an area around the town where you'd like to build your Transporter and left click. Construction will now begin. You'll also need to build a control center (top drawer, third compartment from the left). A new Control Center will be needed for each group of ten units you command.

Once your Transporter and Control Center are complete, you can begin beaming down units. To do so, left-click on the second drawer and then select any of the available unit types. Remember, in order to successfully capture a town, you'll need a Cyborg, so make sure you save enough stock and capital to transport one down.

You're now ready to begin your assault on this mission. As you move, try keeping your missile units up front and any supplier units bringing up the rear. You'll greatly improve your fighting efficiency and your chances of winning.

Your troops will automatically engage enemy troops if left alone but in most cases, you will want to direct their fire. To do so, select a unit or group of units (left-click and drag to select a group of units or simply left-click on a desired unit) and then left-click on the enemy unit you wish to attack.

To capture an enemy Town, beam down a Cyborg (if you haven't already), select it and then click on the town you wish to capture. Congratulations, you've just captured your first Town. Now repeat that until you have captured all of the towns on each mission. Good Luck!
