$  One of the most requirements for mountain artillery guns was the possibility of transport in mountain$
$area.  Guns had to be light, easy to disassemble, transport and assemble again. Because of this, only$
$smaller guns could be adopted for this purpose. Basic guns used by Alpenkorp troops were 75 mm GebK 15 and$
$GebK 18.  The second gun was a variety of infantry gun used in regimental artillery companies.  In the course$
$of war the assortment was enriched by many captured guns adopted for the needs of German mountain troops.$
