$ Two motorised brigades were composed of eight-cannon motorised artillery command (dam). Each of them $
$consisted of a Schneider motorised cannon battery 97/36 cal. 75 mm and 14/17 cal. 100 mm. Skoda motorised $
$howitzer battery. Half-crawler C4P vehicles served as tractors. During the September campaign dams $
$substantially helped Polish motorised troops. Particular attention should be paid to the 16th dam from the $
$10th Motorised Cavalry Brigade of Colonel Maczek which materially contributed to block the march of German $
$armour corps through Beskid Wyspowy. 2nd dam (motorised artillery command) of Warsaw Armour-Motorised $
$Brigade supported the attacks of motorised rifle regiments during the battle in Tomaszow Lubelski. $
$Summarising the operations of dams during the September Campaign, it can be stated that their results were $
$very efficient in comparison to their modest possibilities. The insufficient quantity of artillery $
$equipment made any more efficient operation virtually impossible. $
