Pure Tetrix V1.0 By Barry Gillhespy -- A Gilleptic Game
----------------------------------------------------------

Thankyou for downloading Pure Tetrix. I hope you like it,
and continue to use it as your Tetris platform of choice!

----------------------------------------------------------

Legal Information:

This game is distributed as Freeware, which means you
already have the full version without paying for it.

All I ask is that you pass the game on to other people
you think may like it!

This software is provided as is, meaning
you use it at your own risk. I cannot be held liable for
anything this software does to you or your computer. I
cannot provide technical support on freeware software,
but if you wish to report a problem or a bug,
then read the technical info before you email
bug@magma.force9.co.uk.

Pure Tetrix is copyright of Barry Gillhespy, 1998.
Do NOT distribute for the exchange of money.

Tetris it a trademark of the Tetris Company. Pure Tetrix
is not official Tetris product. If you like Tetris a
lot, I suggest you actually buy an official Tetris version,
so that the original author actually gets some money,
instead of cloners like myself.

How to Play Pure Tetrix:

If you've never played Tetris(tm) before, then I'd like to
welcome you to the greatest game ever devised! Simply
drop blocks into the well to arrange lines. When you
get a line, it disappears. Try not to fill the well.
Try to get a really high score.

All you need to know is the controls:

During Game:-

Right Control - Rotate Right
Alt Gr - Rotate Left
Cursors - move left, right and down
Escape - quit

During Menu:-

Press CTRL, ALT_GR, ENTER or SPACE to select an item.
It's pretty obvious really.

Technical Info:

Please read this before you send a bug report:

Pure Tetrix requires a FULLY Vesa 2 compatible video card.
If you get 'Sorry, cannot set video mode', then your card
needs help!

If you know your video card is capable of running at
640x480 in 16 bit colour (high colour, or 32 thousand
colours) Then it's a problem with the driver.

Visit www.scitechsoft.com and download
Scitech's Display Doctor which will make a Vesa 2 driver
based on your video card which will allow you to run
this game and many others.

Any other problems, please email bug@magma.force9.co.uk.
