AI Thinking Depths:
Many people had told me to improve the AI, so I did just that. Now you can choose its thinking
depth. Its thining depth is basically how far it looks ahead. 1 is the easy, 2 is medium, 3 is
hard, and 4-6 are very hard, but extremely slow. The higher the thinking depth, the slower it
gets. I thinking 6 is unbeatable, maybe because you would get bored to death, but manybe because
its really that good.

How to use board customizer:
The board starts out clean. You need to set it up from scratch. You can choose what kind of
piece you want to place by clicking on it to the right of the board.

Notes on Saving / Loading:
I have put in saving / loading routines to make the game run smoother. The loading routine only
loads boards with the .brd extention. You do not need to type the extention of the file name in
to save. If you type in something ohter than .brd as the extention, it will automatically change
it to .brd. The max length of a file name is 8 charachters (without extention). More than 8
charachters will be cut off. The board loader work with up to 100 boards.

Rules to Othello:
Since I do not have an official copy of the rules to othello, I'll just go from memory. To
play othello, you start off with 4 'dics' in the center of an 8x8 board. Black starts off the
game, and places a disc, so that a white disc is between it, and another black disc. Then both
sides take turns in placing discs so that a disc of the opposing color is between the disc they
place, and a disc of their own color. This can be done diagonally, vertically, or horizontally.
The disc flipping is stopped at the first disc of your own color you come across. All of these
rules will become very clear once you play the game. The game is over when no one can move. The
winner is determined by who has the most discs of thier own color on the board at the end of
the game.

I take no responsibility for any damage this game does to your computer. If your computer is
stupid enough to die when it runs, don't yell at me. You have my personal, not my legal
garentee that it will run fine. Quake 1 is a registered trademark of ID software. Red Alert
