+ Small update with full high score compability to previous versions.
+ COMPETITIONS thru new and improved CUSTOM HILL SETS.  Now best 20
  results are recorded in SJC files and you can join competitions at
  SJ3 home page by sending the CUSTOMS.TXT file.  Good!
+ An option to automatically save all hill record replays, so you'll
  never miss to record that super jump.
+ You can add your real name to your PROFILE, so you don't have to 
  fill them in every time you send your SENDME's and CUSTOMS' too.
+ A few new languages; Serbian and Croatian added to the roster.
+ Lots of internal improvements especially with result lists.
+ New Windows Installer is use.

* An UPDATE version to v3.00 with some cool little improvements, but
  the high scores and hill records are still totally comparable!
+ PROFILES - instead of just jumper names - is one of the more major
  improvements.  Now some extra data of your jumper can be saved 
  and later viewed!  The color of the skis can now also be changed.
  It's also possible to REPLACE a computer jumper in the jumping 
  roster.
+ REPLAYS - of your finest (or worst) flights can now be saved and
  analyzed later on.  You can also share your greatest jumps with
  the rest of the ski jumping world by sending them to me.
+ The HILL RECORDS of the Extra Hills are now saved into the hill files 
  (*.SJH) themselves and they can be viewed from the Hill Records List.  
  And also, the old limit of 20 Extra Hills has been raised to 1000.
+ GOALS for jumping far can now be set from the Setup menu as there is
  a small flag drawn by the hill where your goal is on that particular hill.
  You can even download the goals to match those universal hill records!
  Mr. Seppo Tolonen is the father of this concept, max respect!
+ CUSTOM HILL SETS - can now be saved in the revised Custom Hill 
  Selection Screen, a best result from each _saved_ set is also 
  recorded!
+ The KNOCK-OUT system will be used in the Four Hills Competition, you 
  can disable this in the Setup menu, if you think it sucks.
+ It's finally possible to CUSTOMIZE the KEYS used for jumping.  
  Available thru the Setup menu.  Also a keymap of the keys needed is 
  shown at every first competition.
+ Also the position of the WIND METER on the screen can be changed.
+ The hill records and sendme.txt have new thing called A.H.I or
  ALL HILL INDEX, this is a percentage of how much your hill records
  are above the critical points of the hill.  The bigger the better.
+ There's a small INTRODUCTION to the game when you first start it up.
+ You can adjust the STARTGATE from where jumper starts in the 
  Practice mode only.  The larger value, the higher speed.
+ SNOW FALL - is improved and now takes the wind into consideration!
+ The new Jumpers Profile system has enabled a host of new races to
  be added to the Universal Hall of Fame at the SJ3 home page.  Check
  them out and keep sending those Sendme's!
+ A few bugs fixed from v3.00: the Custom World Cup showed the Four 
  Hills list after 8 competitions without asking, the game sometimes 
  crashed when signing up 8 players in the Team Cup and error 
  messages have been somewhat improved.

+ KING OF THE HILL - a brand new form of competition!  The idea is to
  jump against human or computer jumpers so that the worst jumper of
  each round is eliminated.  This is continued until only one jumper
  is remaining - the King of the Hill.  Muchos gracias to Mr. Ilpo
  Korkko who (sort of) came up with the idea!

+ by popular demand, THE HILL MAKER - build hills yourself and jump 
  in them too.  Or you jump in hills you downloaded from the 
  SJ3 homepage, the possibilities are (nearly) endless.  See the 
  MANUAL.TXT for more info on this stunning new feature.

+ CUSTOM WORLD CUP - choose the hills want to take the world's finest
  jumpers to compete in.  Choose from the 20 original hills and 
  up to 20 extra hills.
  
+ NEW POINTS SYSTEM - points awarded to the jumper in the SJ3 World Cup
  are now according to the FIS system, which gives points to the 30 best
  jumpers with the winner getting 100 points.

+ QUALIFYING ROUNDS - and joint placings are in full effect also.  

+ NEW MENUS - now in cool blue

+ BIGGER HISCORE LISTS - World Cup Top 10 --> Top 20!
  Team Cup Top 5 --> Top 10!  And the all new Top 5 4Hills list!

+ MORE STATS - The statistics page has changed a little with even more
  stats for your enjoyment.

+ TOP 5 AT THE MOMENT has been added to the Team Cup Competition also.

+ JOINTOP - has been updated

+ The crypting system has been changed somewhat.  It's should be even more
  tamper-proof this time around.  Also now the Automatic Hiscore List
  Updater checks for authentity also. So don't edit those SENDME.TXT's!

+ Error messages should be a bit better.

  Again, lots of new stuff:
+ TOP 5 AT THE MOMENT - Now you can be better aware of the current
  situation, since the current Top 5 and the points needed to reach first
  place (NOTE! _at the moment_, not necesseraly at the end of the round!)
  are shown on the screen.  See the FAQ file for questions.
+ JUMPER ANIMATION - It may look a little rough, but it's surely better
  than the former "stick-man".  Adds some more feel to the game.  And in
  the _registered_ version you can also choose the color of your jumpsuit.
+ FOUR HILLS - 4Hills of the Americas has been added as an automatic part
  of the SJ2 World Cup consisting of round 7 to 10.  You can also play
  the 4Hills separately from the Main Menu.
+ JOINTOP.EXE - This little program allows you to combine two TOPTEN.SKI
  files into one.  Usage: JOINTOP <1. input file> <2.input file> <outfile>
+ Also your jumping order number is shown before the first round jump (xx).
  Number 50 is first to jump and naturally number 1 the last.
+ The Scoreboard and the At the Moment screen's results can be shown
  as differentials. (120.3, -2.3, -3.5...).  Just switch it on from
  the Setup menu.  (it is not default)
+ A few new backdrops for Sao Paolo by Mr. Toni Vlitorppa and for Caracas by
  Mr. Simo Virokannas.  Some new stuff in Nairobi too.
+ There also a FAQ file now.  Before you mail me with some
  question check if someone else has already asked the same thing.
+ You are able to _zero_ as well as _reset_ the hiscores from the High Scores
  menu.
+ There was a minor bug with the style points system.  It occasionally left
  out the wrong two style points.  The problem has been fixed now.
  Thanks to all those sharp-eyed people who pointed this out.
+ I got rid of that Stats from last season Main Menu option.  Was anybody
  using it?
+ Oops.  There was still some Finnish language left in the Team Cup stats.
  Corrected that one.

+ The new generation of ski jump simulation!!!  (Holy Moly!)
  Lots of new stuff, from a scrolling screen to a realistic wind effect
  Most of the changes are in the actual jumping process:
  - scrolling screen; the "camera" follows the jumper during flight
  - more colorful backgrounds
  - realistic wind, which has a great effect on the length of the jump.
    See MANUAL.TXT for more details
  - jumping made more realistic, jumping obeys the laws of physics
    a little bit more
  - up to 10 human players can sign up
  - two human teams can sign up in Team Competition

+ There is a REGISTERED version available.  Please see REGISTER.TXT
  on how to impress your friends and own a registered version of SJ2!

  The SHAREWARE version will have all kinds of irritating limitations:
  - the number of players is limited to two (2)
  - no team competition for you, man
  - You are allowed to try out the game for 30 days before
    you have to register.  It's the law, dude, obey it!

  Please do everybody a favor, REGISTER,  it's very cheap and easy.

+ To avoid misuse and increase the reliability of the TOPTEN.SKI file,
  it has been crypted with a highly complex crypting mechanism :)
  Seriously, it does work, so don't try to alter the file

  no nyt sit voi. Asetuksissa on hidastusarvo niminen juttu, sielt voi
  st hidastuksen suuruutta. Nopea 486dx tarvitsee arvon 25-30. Hitaampi
  kuin 386dx ei varmaankaan tarvitse hidastusta ollenkaan...
  -> Kun ensimmisen kerran kynnistt SKIJUMPin, sopiva hidastusarvo
  yritetn laskea monimutkaisella algoritmilla, kuitenkin st on hyv
  suorittaa... Jos tulos on mielestsi pin persett, voit kokeilla kynnist
  SKIJUMP komennolla SJ -L, jolloin ohjelma yritt uudelleen mritt
  sopivaa hidastusta koneellesi.
