1. Game Requirements
Pyramid requires the following on your system:

 MS-DOS in Protected Mode

Video Card that supports VESA. 320x200x16 bit colors.

Sound Card for MIDI and Wave sounds

 Keyboard

 Mouse

The 80386 is the absolute minimum processor the game can run on. It is a 32-bit protected-mode DOS program.

If you don't have a program to run MS-DOS in protected mode, you can try CWSDPMI.

Note: Your mouse and sound card drivers MUST be loaded BEFORE running pyramid.

2. Game Story
This Game is a remake of an original I made back in 2002 as a small static graphic adventure when I was new to QBASIC.
This "renewed" version has the same general story, but the graphics were heavily improved.
I've also added many things to the game.

The story goes like this:
You are an explorer who has heard of this Legend back in Ancient Egypt that a Pharaoh owned a powerful Golden Gauntlet that could unleash the power of the afterlife and bring back the dead. You want to find the ancient relic even though it may not exist. You must explore the Pyramid to see if you can find it. You must be very careful inside the Pyramid. It is very maze like and has many, dangerous traps.
Good Luck.

3. How to Play the Game
Before Playing this Game, you should open up the setup.exe to set up your game, to be sure that it will work properly. If you experience any problems with the game, you should first try to change the settings. If it still doesn't work then report to our message board at http://www.kierragames.proboards67.com and tell about your hardware info.

The game is very different than Spirit Warrior if you have played it. The keyboard is no longer needed to play the game, except when saving. Everything is done with the mouse.

First to run Pyramid, run the Pyramid.exe. Once the game title has started
Click on start new game. You should see yourself in the desert with a river and a bridge.
First thing you should do is to get used to the interface. Move the mouse to the top of the screen. At the top is an icon bar that controls the game.

Please note that this is a BETA release, which means that it can be unstable. Be warned of bugs that can occur anywhere.
Some of which can be fatal to the program. If such happens which the program locks up press ALT-X to terminate the game.
You can also press CTRL-R, to check the room number to report bugs.

The Look Icon should look like the Egyptian Eye of Horus

This icon will allow you to look. Clicking on this will give you a cursor that will look like this icon. Wherever you click on the screen, the game narrator will give you a message of the object you clicked on. For an example if you click on a tree a message box will pop saying something like this: "It's a tall, old palm tree that occupies the area around the river."

The hand Icon:
The hand Icon should look like an Egyptian Hand

This icon will allow you to take, manipulate, etc. Clicking on this will give you a cursor that will look like a hand. This would be used to pick up an object, Opening a door, drink from a lake, etc.

Special Thanks to the Graphic Artists of King's Quest V, because their work for the King's Quest
V drawing scenes helped me for Pyramid's desert scenes.

Also, thank you Rad Gaming Tools, because the Rad Video Tools helped us create the Kierra Intro.
