The TDC Index Note: Many of the titles listed below are tagged as [b1]. That really only means that there are things missing as they were CD-Ripped by pirate groups back in the day. The games likely still play just fine. As we continue through this project, we'll go through the CD images we have and merge the missing bits back into the game (and then remove the [b1]'s). While you might think it would make sense to just include the .ISO image of the CD instead, that doesn't help in cataloging for the .dat file, and that's what this project is all about right now. ==1995== * 2FAST4YOU - Das Superheiße Bi-Fi Race (De) [a1] (1995)(Bi-Fi Roll) [Racing - Driving, Sports].zip - This a CD-ZIP of the redump bin-cue 2FAST4YOU - Das Superheiße Bi-Fi Race (De) (1995)(Bi-Fi Roll) [bin-cue].zip. This version is bigger and has an intro and jukebox as compared to the other versions in TDC. The others may have been demos from gaming magazines and should/will be renamed appropriately when confirmed. * 3-D TableSports [h1] (1995)(Time Warner Interactive Ltd.) [Action, Sports].zip - just a silly cracked by mr cooldude at program exit. * 11th Hour, The (Installer) (1995)(Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc.) [Adventure].zip - This zip is a combination of all the contents of all 4 ISO images. This is admittedly an unusual situation and is experimental in implementation. Only 2 files across all 4 CDs had the same name but different CRCs: SYSTEM\GO.BAT and SYSTEM\INSTCHEK.EXE. These two files were different on CD1 than the other three CDs, so majority ruled as to which one to use. The files from CD1 were renamed to GO1.BAT and INSTCHEK.EX1 respectively. * 1830- Railroads & Robber Barons v031795 [a1] (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - This appears to be the release off CD, although we cannot find an ISO image to validate it. * 1830- Railroads & Robber Barons v031795 [a2] (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - Alternate crack (from Razor) * 1830- Railroads & Robber Barons v031795 [a3] (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - Yet another crack, this time from genesis * 3-D Pitfall [h1] (1995)(J. Shramko) [Action, Strategy].zip - Hacked shareware message changed to being registered to FSW despite the fact that it's identical otherwise to the [SW] version. * Absolute Zero v1.0.4 [b1][h1] (1995)(Domark Software, Inc.) [Action].zip - graffiti startup, [b1] because lots of files are 0'ed out and you apparently must run the Razor 911 game from the main menu or the game crashes. Best Known Dump * Action Soccer (Installer) (1995)(Ubi Soft Entertainment Software) [Sports].zip - Won't install in DOSBox due to batch file handling. Could probably load command.com from true DOS first? * Actua Soccer v1.4 (En)(Fr)(De) [b1] (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Sports].zip - CD rip, missing german language file at a minimum. best known dump. language can be selected by command line switch "soccer -french" or "soccer -german" except german bombs out. The language selection in config.ini seems be ignored. crack:
Comparing files SOCCER.EX_ and SOCCER.EXE 00047EB3: 74 90 00047EB4: 13 90* Actua Soccer- Semifinals v062596 (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Sports].zip - taken from Special Reserve CD7. * Advanced Civilization (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Strategy].zip - use AC_MAIN.EXE to start. The batch file does some CD check which appears to crash DOSBox, but can be mitigated if no CD is enabled? Just exits then. * Advanced Civilization [a1] (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Strategy].zip - has a shorter AH_LOGO.FLC file which does not display the Avalon Hill logo. It's also missing ADVCIVIL.FLC which could of course be by accident or by design until we get some original copies. * Advanced Civilization Beta v1.05 (1995)(The Avalon Hill Game Company) [Strategy].zip - At the doc check, click on the blank box. * AIV Network$ (Installer) [f1] (1995)(Infogrames Multimedia SA) [Simulation].zip - Repacked to get the install to work.
1. Combined D256.PAK with copy /b 2. Combined PHOTO.PAK with copy /b 3. Hacked INSTALL.OPT parms to allow single disk copy of all files without disk merge 4. Replaced D256.PAK disk complements with FIX1.TXT to match Installer options 5. Replaced PHOTO.PAK disk complements with FIXED.TXT to match Installer options 6. updated PAKINST.BAT for a few syntax errors and some file cleanup, remarked in file 7. Tested in DOSBox (.74) DISK A: floppy mounted as DISK1 (Label Check by installer) 7a. mount A DRIVEA -t floppy -label disk1 (if DRIVEA exists relative to the DB directory) 7b. A: (cd drive) ; install.bat (follow GUI)* Al-Qadim- The Genie's Curse v1.1 (Installer) (1995)(Strategic Simulations, Inc.) [Action, Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - CD version released in 1995, floppy is from 1994. * Al-Qadim- The Genie's Curse v1.1 (Installer) [a1] (1995)(Strategic Simulations, Inc.) [Action, Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - Base installer is from the redump.org CD image, and includes adobe reader. This one is not from the same source since the files are different. * Alien Legacy (Installer) (1994)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - DISK.IDx files were renamed to get them all into the same archive. Each should be named DISK.ID on their own disk image. The modified installer re-uses the file from disk 1. * Alien Odyssey (Installer) (En)(Da)(De)(Fr)(Es)(It) [a1] (1995)(Philips Interactive Media, Inc.) [Action][!].zip - very slightly different TEST\TESTER.EXE and includes VTOC.SYS. This is a CD-ZIP of redump's Alien Odyssey (Europe).bin/cue which is also in TDC. This copy is identical to a CCD copy floating around with alien.img having a CRC32 of a477e3de, alien.sub ae4c2840, so it was upgrade to a known good dump. * Aliens- A Comic Book Adventure (Installer) (1995)(Mindscape, Inc.) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIP of the 2 ISO files under the same name. The discs had duplicate filenames, so the entire 2nd CD is placed in the root folder _CD2. The installer will install to C:\aliens so be careful not to install over the top of your DOSBox mount. Not sure when CD2 comes into play to know if bundling the game like this is valid. * Alone in the Dark 3 [h1][b1] (1995)(I-Motion, Inc.) [Action].zip - missing audio files, best known dump - cracked by intro screen * Alone in the Dark 3 [h1][b1] (1995)(I-Motion, Inc.) [Action].zip - missing audio tracks (CD-RIP) and loader cracked by mr cooldude message * Ant Man (Kr) [a1] (1995)(Namil Soft) [Action].zip - Different crack. Someday we will merge to uncrack one of them. * Antagony [f1] (1995)(Triniti Software) [Action].zip - patch made to the interrupt controller; actually to NOT do something to the interrupt controller. * Bang (Fr) [SW] (1995)(Bizarre, David Auber, Frederic Sardain) [Action].zip - Seems hacked or fixed in some way, as there are 2 bang.exe files. Neither really worked well for me- keyboard lockups. More info needed please. * Baoxiao Baolingqiu (Comedy Bowling) (Kr) [h1] (1995)(Panda Entertainment) [Sports].zip - mr. cooldude strikes again in the loader - probably easy to clean up * Battle of the Eras v2.0D (demo) (Installer) [a1] (1995)(Procryon) [Action].zip - This is derived from the base installer which was distributed in 3 parts and then combined, so the base installer is kind of an installer installer and is here for completeness and tracking. * Bible Master (Kr) (1995)(Glodia, KCT) [Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - gives "CRC error" if there's too much free conventional memory, so in DOSBox "LOADFIX -48" will do the trick... also it's uncracked (copy protection codes provided separately in Docs) * Big Red Racing v2.16R (Installer) (En)(Fr)(De) [b1] (1995)(Domark Software, Inc.) [Racing - Driving].zip - missing intro animations. Best known dump. Perfectly playable. * Blupi Explorer v2.4 (Installer) (En)(Fr)(De) (1995)(Epsitec SA) [Action, Strategy, Puzzle].zip - CD-ZIP of the ISO image in TDC * Bolo (En)(Fr)(De) (1995)(Dongleware Verlags GmbH) [Action].zip - To have sounds in this game and avoid the warning about misconfigured soundblaster at startup, you must have an 'autoexec.bat' file at the root of your mounted C: under dosbox. This file must have a correct 'set BLASTER' line, i.e. : 'set BLASTER = A220 I7 D1 H5 T6' This is a CD-ZIP of the bin-cue under the same name. To get it to play correctly, unzip and then remove the write protect attributes on the files. * Boulderoid v1.15 [a1] (1995)(MacroHead & MicroBrain) [Strategy].zip - same version, dif .exe at least this one isn't tzipped. * Breach 3 (Installer) [f1] (1995)(Impressions Games) [Role-Playing (RPG), Strategy].zip - Installer assumes you have xcopy.exe available in your path. Added DOS 5.0 version of xcopy to this zip for DOSBox users. No other modifications made. * Caesar II [b1] (1995)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - missing animation files and audio according to hybrid.nfo file * Capitalism [b1] (1995)(Interactive Magic Ltd.) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - Cd rip, quick start data removed for example. best known dump (for now) * Capitalism [b2] (1995)(Interactive Magic Ltd.) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - better CD rip. Only scenarios and some unrelated demos removed. capmain.exe appears to be cracked and doesn't need CDEMU * Championship Manager 2 v1.56 [b1] (1995)(Domark Software, Inc.) [Simulation, Sports].zip - A bit homebrewed. Stripped crowd noises and sound effects and this is an earlier retail version patched using the v1.56 upgrade. Marked as bad for the missing content. * Command & Conquer v1.07 [h1][b1] (1995)(Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - Graffiti and missing lots of movies and sounds. Best known dump. * Command and Conquer- Compact Edition v1.19P [h1] (1995)(Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - This is a homemade compilation of ripped versions of CnC with upgrade packs. Technically not anything official, but added in here for ease of use and may be useful as the complete games get brought in individually. * Conqueror- A.D. 1086 (Installer) (1995)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Role-Playing (RPG), Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name. * Conqueror- A.D. 1086 [b1] (1995)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Role-Playing (RPG), Strategy].zip - CD-RIP scene relese. Playable but missing audio and low res options. The best route to gameplay is to use the installer above and start anew, but the game doesn't actually install much onto the C: drive- it runs primarily off the CD. * Corridor 7- Alien Invasion (Installer) (1995)(Capstone Software) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's bin-cue http://redump.org/disc/9579/ * Crullo- Adventures of a Donut (1995)(Eric-Jon Waugh) [Action].zip - different than the 1994 version. May be compiled with a later version of gamemaker * Crusader- No Remorse v1.01 (Installer) (1995)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action].zip - direct CD-ZIP of ISO image in TDC. replaces CD-RIP that was missing all the animations. * Cyberbykes- Shadow Racer VR [b1] (1995)(GameTek, Inc.) [Racing - Driving].zip - missing animations. Best Known Dump * Cyberbykes- Shadow Racer VR (Installer) (1995)(GameTek, Inc.) [Racing - Driving].zip - 8 disk version installer. * CyberMage- Darklight Awakening v1.01F (Installer) (En)(Fr)(De) [b1] (1995)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action].zip - Ripped animations, language support. Best known dump * Dark Seraphim (Kr) (1995)(Kure Software Koubou, KCT) [Action, Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - requires EMS, XMS, * Dark Seraphim (Zh) (1995)(Kure Software Koubou, KCT) [Action, Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - requires EMS, XMS, yes this is chinese and different than the korean above * Darker (En)(Fr)(De) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Action, Simulation].zip - to switch languages, run "X lang=0" (English) "lang=1" (French) "lang=2" (German) * Daryl F. Gates' Police Quest- SWAT (Installer) (1995)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Action, Simulation].zip - The official release of this game came on 4 CDs, of which CDs 2-4 are the windows version. The contents of those CDs are not included in this collection. Unfortunately, CD 1 also includes a demo AVI of Gabriel Knight 2, the exact same AVI included in Caesar II! * Descent II (demo) (Installer) [a1] (1995)(Interplay Productions, Inc.) [Action].zip - Appears to be a slightly older version of the non [a1] demo. * DDM Soccer '95 (1995)(Digital Dreams Multimedia) [Sports].zip - yes this is different than DDM Futbol '95 (1995)(Digital Dreams Multimedia) [Sports].zip * Defcon 5 v1.06 [b1] (1995)(Nova Spring) [Action, Strategy].zip - missing audio track, so use the CD image instead. * Dime City (De) (1995)(Starbyte Software) [Action, Strategy].zip - Configured to run off of C:\ Run CDSETUP.BAT to reconfigure if that's not where you're running it from. * Dig It! [a1] (1996)(Pixel Painters Corporation) [Action].zip - different file set and 1/2 the size, so it makes me wonder if this is a demo or SW release. * Dinotopia [b1] (1995)(Turner Interactive) [Adventure].zip - Missing 300+mb of animations. Best known dump. * Discworld (1995)(Perfect 10 Productions) [Adventure].zip - this is also known as a trade_sample, or pre-release. It has no title screens and some debugger information while running. Placed under Perfect 10 instead of Psygnosis to help distinguish it from the full product. CD-ZIP of the ISO under the same name. This release is from Feb 1995. * Discworld (Installer) (En)(It)(De)(Fr)(Es) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - This is the full CD with English voiceover, but does not have english subtitles. This is a CD-ZIP of the ISO image in TDC, although we're not sure where it came from. It has timestamps from 1996 in it. * Discworld (Installer) (Fr)(It)(De)(Es) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - Floppy version, taken off IMA files in TDC, which in turn was taken from tgod disk set TGOD2692. * Discworld (Installer) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - Another floppy version, taken from Discworld (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [IMA][1440k][!].zip * Discworld (Fr)(It)(De)(Es) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - this is apparently not an installed copy from the floppy installer with the same name above. It has some additional material: -- extra ES HELP materials -- DISCWOLD.COM is a BAT2COM file of DISC.BAT -- DWORLD.TXT is a hint file -- PLAY.BAT calls the normal DISC.BAT file * Discworld (De) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name. Does not really need to be installed; just a soundcard selection. * Dokkaebi-ga Ganda (도깨비가 간다) (1995)(Senori Box) [Action].zip - not sure if the uncracked do.ex_ is truly original or not since the two exe files do not match at all. may be due to a decompression/decryption layer/wrapper removal. * Drací Historie (Cz) (1995)(Vochozka Trading) [Adventure].zip - includes a zip of mp3s called dub-mp3.zzz which is not present in the other versions of this title. I suspect this is actually a redbook audio CD game in which case these mp3s should go away and a bin-cue of the CD should be used instead, but we don't have it yet. * Drací Historie (Pl) (1995)(Vochozka Trading) [Adventure].zip - same as above mp3 note * Druid- Daemons of the Mind [b1] (1995)(Sir-tech Software, Inc.) [Adventure, Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - Missing audio tracks since the CD is red book audio. Use the [bin-cue] image instead, this archive does contain a cracked .exe * Dune II- The Battle for Arrakis v1.07 (Installer) (Fr)(En)(De) (1995)(The White Label) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of redumps bin-cue http://redump.org/disc/10945/ This is a budget re-release issue. contents match ISO image with CRC32 0x358c6e51 * Dune II- The Battle for Arrakis v1.07 (Installer) (Fr)(En)(De) (1995)(Hit Squad, The) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of redumps bin-cue http://redump.org/disc/37255/ Anoher budget re-release, but installer is different than above. This version is cracked too. Normally copy protection comes up after level 1 and level 7. * Dune II- The Battle for Arrakis v1.07 (Installer) (Fr)(En)(De) (1995)(Virgin Games, Ltd.) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP from an unknown CD image. Different installer physically, same net result once installed as white label release. * Dungeon Master II- Skullkeep (Installer) (1995)(Interplay Entertainment Corp.) [Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - CD-ZIP of the ISO of the same name. * Earthworm Jim 2 [h1] (1995)(Interplay Entertainment Corp.) [Action].zip - cracked by mr coolDude message after game exits. Barely even worth mentioning. * Empire Soccer (1995)(Empire Interactive Europe Ltd.) [Sports].zip - appears to be a re-release of Empire Soccer 94, but all references to "94" have been removed and publisher changed from Empire Software to Empire Interactive. Original source for this unknown. * Exploration (Installer) [b1] (1995)(Interactive Magic Ltd.) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - CD RiP, missing audio tracks and demos. Seems playable otherwise. * F-29 Retaliator (Installer) (1995)(Ocean Software Ltd.) [Action, Simulation].zip - CD-ZIP of ISO image. * First Queen IV (魔域傳說4 - 波斯戰記) (Installer) (Zh) [b1] (1995)(Hwaei International) [Role-Playing (RPG), Strategy].zip - best known dump. May be just a DOSBox thing, but no one seems to be able to get it installed. * Fade to Black [b1] (1995)(Electronic Arts) [Action].zip - missing cinematics files, best known dump. * Fatal Racing (En)(De)(Fr) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Limited) [Action, Racing - Driving].zip - CD-ZIP of Fatal Racing (En)(De)(Fr) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Limited) [bin-cue].zip Language selector added to avoid re-installing, so kind of an [f1]. crack:

To reconfigure you have to reinstall, which is pretty stupid. * Fatal Racing (Es)(Pt)(En) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Limited) [Action, Racing - Driving].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue under the same name. Default is in English but an install allows a change to Brazilian or S.American Spanish. May be copy protection. Not quite a perfect replacement for the above (Es) [b1]. * Fighter Wing (Installer) (1995)(Merit Studios, Inc.) [Simulation].zip - unfortunately this one has multiple disks with the same files, so they were separated into folders. * Flight of the Amazon Queen vM.10 [tr Ru][h1] (1995)(Renegade Software) [Adventure].zip - unofficial translation, but also has a loader intro bragging about it, which makes it a hack too. * Flight Unlimited vF2.4S (Installer) [a1] (1995)(Looking Glass Technologies, Inc.) [Simulation].zip - CD-ZIP of bin/cue of the same name and [a1] tag. Slightly different file layout and timestamps of the base version. * Front Lines [a1] (1995)(Impressions Games) [Strategy].zip - Better file dates than the existing non-a1 version - is this an exact dupe of the non a1? * Front Page Sports- Football Pro '96 Season (Installer) (1995)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Simulation, Sports].zip - after installing, copy cdpath.cfg from the original FBPRO96 folder into the main folder where you installed the game. Why it doesn't get copied over is beyond me. If you don't do this, hike.bat will exit out with a CD error. * Fun School 4 - For 7 to 11 Year Olds (1995)(Europress Software Ltd.) [Educational].zip - this is a different build of the 1993 game, with different filenames. The 1993 version has a file called FS.EXE which is where the version # came from, but that file does not exist in this release. * Future Dimension [b1] (1995)(Lifetimes) [Action].zip - CD-RIP, missing all animations. Cracked differently so it may be useful, but there are copies available in TDC which have all the cutscenes. * Guilty v2.392 (En)(Fr)(De)(It)(Es) (1995)(Psygnosis Limited) [Adventure].zip - At the copy protection screen, press F8 and select 'new game' * H.U.R.L. (1995)(Deep River Publishing) [Action].zip - after running setsound, it will delete any other sound drivers, so be careful. * Hannibal (Installer) (1995)(General Admission Software) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of the ccd image in TDC CD collection. * Hexen- Beyond Heretic [a1] (1995)(id Software, Inc.) [Action].zip - Mentions CD-ROM both in readme.txt and the setup.exe program, however there is already a "hexen CD Version" in TDC which is different than this one. Not sure where this version fits into the known release list yet. * Hi-Octane (En)(De)(Fr)(It)(Es) (1995)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Racing - Driving].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's bin-cue http://redump.org/disc/2130/ Fix for MPU401 driver, not specific to DOSBox: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=276524#p276524 * Hi-Octane Revised Edition (En)(De)(Fr)(It)(Es) (1995)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Racing - Driving].zip - We're of the belief this is the v1.2 as described in mobygames release section for this title. * Hocus Pocus v1.1 (Installer) [SWR] (1995)(Apogee Software, Ltd.) [Action].zip - from Game Graveyard ; https://coreduo.me.uk/ has extra DOC files * Hocus Pocus v1.1 (Installer) [SWR][a1] (1995)(Apogee Software, Ltd.) [Action].zip - sourced from TGOD#3139 * Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (1995)(Lucasfilm Games LLC) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIP of ISO image of the same name. Same as 1993 release except it includes a BOOTDISK.EXE from 1995. Full Talkie version * Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis [a1] (1995)(Lucasfilm Games LLC) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's bin cue http://redump.org/disc/10154/ Same content as an ISO image with crc32 of 0x0d4a77d3. This is the same as above but with demos. * Jungle Strike (Installer) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Action].zip - Floppy version. 3 disk set, all have DTEST.EXE on them and all 3 are different. Renamed to DTEST2.EXE and DTEST3.EXE to be able to bundle into a zip. * Jungle Strike CD (Installer) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name from redump. http://redump.org/disc/66293/ Upon installing, skip the section where it asks if you want video sequences, or it will hang forever testing the CD speed under DOSBox. The content of the bin-cue matches an ISO image with the CRC32 of dc27eef9 see this thread: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=17149 * Desert Strike and Jungle Strike (Installer) (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Limited) [Action, Compilation].zip - See above note on installing; same thing happens here. This is a CD-ZIP of redump's bin-cue, also available in TDC. http://redump.org/disc/7455/ Contents are identical to the ISO image with CRC32 of EA595699, not sure if that ISO is of the USA release or just an ISO of the EU release. Time will tell. Also an exact match of bin/cue 6679aae1/97857eb0 * Jungle Strike [a1] (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Action].zip - Installed and cracked floppy version. Base is also floppy version with a different crack. * Jungle Strike CD [b1] (1995)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Action].zip - Appears to be a CD-RIP, as there are no videos. Only being included for the moment because the .dat file is quite a bit different than others that we've discovered so far. Source unknown. * Jungledyret (Installer) [h1] (1995)(Sweatbox Animation) [Action].zip - crack with intro screen * Jungledyret (Da) (1995)(Sweatbox Animation) [Action].zip - poorly cracked with an intro message. it says just type "i" (no quotes) at the doc check and press enter. * Karnov (1995)(Data East USA, Inc.) [Action].zip - CD-ROM version of a 1987 game in 1995! Very little differences. * Kingpin- Arcade Sports Bowling v2.2 (1995)(Team17 Software Limited) [Sports].zip - Crack:
Comparing files KINGPIN.EXE and KINGPIN.EX_ 00012276: 90 74 00012277: 90 F1* Knights of Xentar v1.08A [b1] (1995)(MegaTech Software) [Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - missing intro. Best dump known. * Lion [b1] (1995)(Sanctuary Woods Multimedia Corporation) [Action, Educational, Simulation].zip - missing \SOUND\ folder, so tagging as bad. The .exe is different so this may also be an earlier prototype/beta? No idea where this was sourced from. * Living Ball (Installer) (1995)(Interactivision A-S) [Simulation].zip - direct CD-ZIP of bin-cue from redump. replaces CD-RIP version previously in TDC. * Lollypop (Installer) (De)(En)(Nl) (1995)(Softgold Computerspiele GmbH) [Action].zip - while the installer is multi-language, the resulting game always appears in English. This is a CD-ZIP of Lollypop (1995)(Softgold Computerspiele GmbH) [bin-cue].zip which has audio tracks. * Lords of Midnight III- The Citadel v57 [b1] (1995)(Domark Software, Inc.) [Role-Playing (RPG), Strategy].zip - Missing intro animation. Bet known dump, perfectly playable * Lost Episodes Of Doom, The (Installer) (1995)(Sybex Inc) [Action, Addon].zip - Type Setupjup C DOOM if your game is installed in c:\doom. Then type Jupiter to play. Same principle with setupdeu.bat. * Lucullus (He) [h1] (1995)(Domino) [Strategy].zip - copyright messages hacked. * Lunar Commander II v1.5 (1995)(VCSI, Wesson International) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - DOSBox could use a "sbtype sbpro1" or a general statement in batch for "set BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T2" or whichever interrupt is required. * Magic Carpet- The Hidden Worlds (Installer) (En)(De)(Fr)(It) [b1] (1995)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action].zip - According to the nfo file, this is a special standalone version, not an add-on to be installed onto an existing magic carpet game. [Adventure].zip - This CD-ZIP is taken from Dragon Lore- Die Legende beginnt (De) (1997)(Alchemy Publishing Ltd.) [ISO].zip. disc1's content matches redump's "Dragon Lore - Die Legende beginnt (Germany) (Disc 1) (Rerelease)" bin/cue, but redump appears to be missing CD2. * Dungeon Keeper (Installer) (De) (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Strategy].zip- CD-ZIP of the ISO image in TDC. * Dungeon Keeper (Installer) (En)(Fr)(Pl)(Se)(Nl)(Es) (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue image in TDC * Electronic Popple (1997)(Capcom U.S.A., Inc.) [Action].zip - Yes this is different than the ByteShock version in this same year. I suspect the BS version is a demo before it got picked up commercially. * Epic Pinball CD (Installer) v2.1 [SWR] (1997)(Epic MegaGames, Inc.) [Action].zip - This is a CD-ZIP of a redump.org bin-cue, also available in TDC. * Eracha (En)(De) (1997)(Green Pepper) [Action].zip - German (box) name is Erachacha but title screen is still Eracha. Browsing the pcx files in the data folder, one can see german help screens but otherwise this game has been translated to english. * Extreme Assault v1.01 [b1] (1997)(Blue Byte Software GmbH) [Action].zip - CD-RIP, totally playable. Missing speech files. * F1 Manager Professional [b1] (1997)(Software 2000) [Simulation, Strategy, Sports].zip - Missing many movies, audio. Best dump known. * Fire Fox (火狐狸) (Zh) (1997)(Tengtu United Electronics Development Co. LTD) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue under the same name in the CD images collection. No installation needed. Has CD audio, so the bin-cue is needed. * FIFA Soccer 97 (Installer) (En)(Es)(Se)(De)(It)(Fr) (1996)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Sports].zip - "re-release" CD-ZIP from redump. Includes cracked FIFADOS.EXE and original as FIFADOS.EX_ crack:

[Strategy].zip - Ripped animations, sounds. Best known dump * Fun School 4 - For 7 to 11 Year Olds (1997)(Europress Software Ltd.) [Educational].zip - this is a re-release of the 1995(?) title, but now on CD. It's a CD-ZIP of the bin-cue available in TDC. * Fun School 3 - Over 7s (Installer) (1997)(Database Educational Software) [Educational].zip - this is a re-release of the 1994(?) title, but now on CD. It's a CD-ZIP of the bin-cue available in TDC. * Fun School 3 - Under 5's (Installer) (1997)(Database Educational Software) [Educational].zip - this is a re-release of the 1991 title, but now on CD. It's a CD-ZIP of the bin-cue available in TDC. The original floppy version is in 1991 * Gate of Destiny, The (1997)(Raon Soft Team) [Action].zip - not sure what the deal is with this. Looks like a mix of English, Korean and Chinese, but inconsistently enough that I'm not sure which one to tag it with. the game also continues to think something is selected; it rushes through the menus and into the fighting action immediately. maybe that's part of the fun. Wasn't tagged as [b1] as the game does seem playable despite the quirks. * Germs [a1] (1997)(William Yu) [Strategy, Action].zip - .com version, looks like it was just compiled differently. * GT Racing 97 [b1] (1997)(Ocean Software Ltd.) [Racing - Driving].zip - Missing movies and language files, best known dump. CD-RIP and playable. * Heroes of Might and Magic II- The Succession Wars (It) (1997)(3DO Company, The) [Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP from bin-cue. this is a mixed win/dos CD, just change to the heroes2 folder and run heroes2. * Hugo 4 (He) (1997)(ITE Media ApS (Interactive Television Entertainment)) [Action].zip - no idea if this is actually the name, but the description on mobygames matches: snowboard, nimbus, underground, ballooning * Humbug v5.0 [FW][a1] (1997)(Graham Cluley) [Adventure, Interactive Fiction].zip - exe in both base and this one are compressed, but even after UNPing them both the file sizes are still different. It appears one of them still has some kind of compression that UNP can't discover. With the size difference, it's possible one build is newer than the other. *

[Adventure, Compilation].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's 2 disc set: http://redump.org/disc/16219/, http://redump.org/disc/37477/ Due to filename collisions, CD 2 was placed inside _CD2 folder in this zip. * Last Express, The (Installer) (1997)(Brøderbund Software, Inc.) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIPs of the bin-cue of the same name. CD images are from redump. To merge into a single installer zip, the autorun on disks 2+3 had to be renamed. Run Install from inside the \DOS folder. * Last Knight, The (En)(Es)(De) (1997)(Island Dream - Games & Soft) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the ISO image also in TDC. it seems that this game has a critical bug. As reported by those who played, at the end of Level 7 it is impossible to exit the level. The only workaround that was found is to use some cheat with extra program to pass the level to 8 manually. The information is in Spanish: http://www.lamazmorraabandon.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2542 * Leo the Lion [b1] (1997)(Flair Software Ltd.) [Action].zip - Best Known dump. Playable, but there are lots of 0 byte files, no title screen, etc. * MadSpace (Installer) (Ru) (1997)(Auric Vision Ltd.) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name. The (En)(De) version may be the steam release, but we currently don't know. * Man of War v1.01 [b1] (1997)(Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc.) [Strategy].zip - Appears to be a CD-RIP. No intro, title screen etc and the "credits" button does nothing. Playable. best known dump. * Max & Sparky (1997)(Lever Brothers) [Action].zip - has a windows installer, but you can run the game 100% in DOS by switching to the game folder and running max.exe. The max.bat file fails to start the game in dosbox. * Microprose Formula One Grand Prix v1.03 (En)(De)(Fr) (1997)(MicroProse Ltd.) [Racing - Driving, Sports].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue from redump (also available in TDC). This one includes a demo of GP2 and acrobat reader. * Mino-ui Moheom (Mino's Adventure) (Kr) (1997)(Virtual Wave, Impreso Team, KOGA) [Action].zip - CD rip(?) - run from D:\, or it freezes when you start a new game * Need for Speed, The- Special Edition (Installer) (En)(De) (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action, Racing- Driving].zip is a CD-ZIP of Need for Speed, The- Special Edition (En)(De) (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [bin-cue].zip which comes to us from redump who called it "Road & Track Presents - The Need for Speed SE (USA) (Rerelease)" * Need for Speed, The- Special Edition (En)(De) [f1] (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action, Racing- Driving].zip - is a freshly cracked, playable, install based off the above with the video glitch described here http://www.os2museum.com/wp/need-for-speed-se-video-glitch/ fixed to boot! It's the best of all worlds. * Negra Noche (Es) [a1] (1993)(Carlos Martinez Aguirre) [Adventure, Interactive Fiction].zip - same game but different documentation. Looks like this is a slightly older release and the base version was updated in 2000. * NFL Quarterback Club 97 [b1] (1996)(Acclaim Entertainment, Inc.) [Sports].zip - CD RIP, animations removed. Best known dump. * NHL '97 [b1] (1996)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action, Simulation, Sports].zip - Missing many animations due to CD-RIP by razor. Best dump known currently. Supposedly multi-language as well, but there is no setup option to select them- they were likely ripped anyway. * Norse by Norse West- The Return of the Lost Vikings (Installer) (En)(Fr)(De) [b1] (1997)(Interplay Entertainment Corp.) [Action, Strategy].zip - best known dump. Speech was ripped, but the game plays fine if you turn on subtitles. Do a minimal install. * Oddworld- Abe's Oddysee (Es) (1997)(GT Interactive Software Corp.) [Action, Puzzle].zip - likely a CD rip or some kind of incomplete job. Best known dump. * Overheat (1997)(Microforum Italia) [Action, Racing - Driving].zip - The installer for this game is windows, but the game itself is DOS. This zip is the resulting DOS files in all their messy format. There are two folders in the root containing two separate versions of the game along with lots of source code and a windows uninstaller. this is very much not the way games are to be distributed in this collection, but what can we do? * Panic Soldier (1997)(CDV Software GmbH) [Strategy].zip - has some hardcoded paths for C:\PANIC so be careful where this one is installed to. The installer appears to have a PANIC.EXE with some of those paths hacked out, but this one still needs a little hex editing still to be truly folder independent. * PC Basket v4.5 (Installer) (Es) (1997)(Dinamic Multimedia, S.A.) [Simulation, Sports].zip - CD-ZIP of ISO image in TDC * Police Quest- Collection Series (Installer) (1997)(Sierra Entertainment, Inc.) [Adventure, Compilation].zip - See "Daryl F. Gates' Police Quest- SWAT v1.0c" above. * Principio del Fin, El (Es) [a1] (1997)(BASS Software) [Adventure].zip - January 1997 release, vs base version which is September. Yes this says 1994 on the title screen, so there must be an earlier version(s) we're still missing. * Realms of the Haunting v3.925 [h1][b1] (1997)(Interplay Entertainment Corp.) [Action, Aventure].zip - hybrid CD-RIP release which requires their loader to exist or it fails to run. Stubbed out with a do-nothing hybrid.exe to limit the annoyances, but this one needs a full scrubbing which will happen when we replace CD-RIP with CD-ZIP. * Revolt of Don's Knights (1997)(Emerald Software Ltd.) [Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - Crashes DOSBox when soundblaster is enabled. Works fine if you run setup again and configure for no sound. * Sandwarriors (Installer) (1997)(Gremlin Interactive Ltd.) [Action, Simulation].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name. * Shadow Warrior v1.2 (1997)(3D Realms Entertainment, Inc.) [Action].zip - crack:

[Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of the ISO of the same name. This is a re-release with pdf manual included. * Super Bomberman (炸彈超人) (Installer) (Zh) (1997)(Tan Ton Nerw Information Co., Ltd.) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue image in TDC. Has audio tracks, so use the bin-cue for best results. * Swing [b1] (1997)(Software 2000) [Action, Strategy].zip - Missing animations and credits, possibly more. Playable, best known dump. * Theme Hospital [b1] (1997)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Simulation, Strategy].zip - CD-RIP, missing animations. This version (hospital.exe anyway) is different than the one created by the installer version, which is the only reason it is in TDC for the moment. Hopefully we will find the true source. * Total Football Management v1.40 (Installer) (1997)(Europress Software Ltd., Software 2000) [Sports, Strategy].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue in TDC. If using DOSBox, the install.bat file doesn't work due to for loops, but you can do it this way: inst.bat with maximum install level (3) and then copy tfm.cfg from the installed folder into the folder where the CD was unzipped. Run setsound in tfm\drivers. * Touring Car Champions [b1] (1997)(Virtual Sports Interactive) [Racing - Driving, Sports].zip - missing animations due to CD-RIP. Plays fine. best dump known. * Twinsen's Odyssey (1997)(Activision, Inc.) [Action, Adventure].zip - this version is not from the (Installer) which is from the redump bin-cue. This version is from June 16, 1997 - 17:18:50. The installer's version reports July 3rd 1997. crack:

[Strategy, Addon].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue of the same name. ==1998== * 3D Bomber [a1] (1998)(Steven Don) [Action].zip - different build, smaller exe. No idea what changed. * Abyss of Pandemonium (Installer) [b1] (1998)(Perfect Publishing) [Action, Addon].zip - Sigh. This is a windows installer for an addon that can be used under DOS, so it doesn't really fit in this collection, but on the other hand it does. If you're working in pure DOS, simply copy the contents of the IMPEL folder into your Quake folder. This zip is tagged as bad because the full CD (also included in TDC) has a number of audio tracks on the CD which cannot be expressed inside this zip. * Alchemist v1.2 (En)(Zh) [b1] (1998)(Warp Power Interactive Entertainment Ltd.) [Strategy].zip - Missing intro and credits but playable. best dump known. * Bloodie v1.1 (Cz) [a1] (1998)(Future Games s.r.o.) [Action].zip - patched somehow, or perhaps the non a1 is. * Carmageddon (Installer) (1998)(Interplay Entertainment Corp., SCi Games Ltd.) [Action, Racing - Driving].zip - USA Re-release which includes some 3dfx voodoo updates and some demo content removed. This is a CD-ZIP of redump's "Carmageddon (USA) (Rerelease)", which is also available in TDC. This may be one of the 2 discs of the carmageddon "max pack" which is a compilation of carma+spat pack. * Carmageddon- High Octane (1998)(Interplay Entertainment Corp., SCi Games Ltd.) [Action, Racing - Driving].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's bin-cue http://redump.org/disc/21265/ High Octane is apparently a weird stripped down release of the original carmageddon. * Carmageddon- Splat-Pack (Installer) (1998)(Interplay Productions, Inc., SCi Games Ltd.) [Action, Compilation].zip - CD-ZIP of redump's Carmageddon - Splat Pack (USA) (Max Pack) bin-cue, which is available in TDC's CD images folder. The bin/cue contains audio tracks too. This may be one of the 2 discs of the carmageddon "max pack" which is a compilation of carma+spat pack. To install in DOSBox: 1) Unzip the 1997 carmageddon installer (the 1998 one above may also work) into a folder that is mounted as a CD type under dosbox. 2) In dosbox, switch to that CD drive and run the installer. 3) Unzip this archive over the top of the carmageddon installer files, overwriting all files. 4) Launch DOSbox again and run install from that CD drive. Point the installer to your installed version of Carmageddon and install the splat pack into a new folder. The installer will then ask for your original carmageddon CD to be installed. Apparently leaving some of the installer files from step 1 is enough to trick this installer that the CD is available and the install should finish. The install will otherwise fail and not completely transfer all the files over resulting in a "keymap not found" error when launched. 5) crack the main game exe and the 3dFX version by running crack.exe and/or crack_fx.exe as included in this archive. crack:

This is a complete game and doesn't require the original E2140 to be available. * FitUp v0.90 [SW] (1998)(Eclipse) [Strategy, Action].zip - see note under Viper below. * Jetpack v1.5 [FW][a1] (1998)(Software Creations) [Action].zip - Release date for Jetpack 2 at exit changed (hacked?) to say 2000 instead of 1999. * Judge Dredd Pinball [b1] (1998)(Pin-Ball Games Ltd.) [Action, Simulation].zip - appears to be a CD-RIP. No sounds, no Music. Supposed to be multi-language but when selecting the desired language everything is still in English except the "Quit?" message when exiting the game, so I left the language selection flags empty for now. Best known dump. * Konglong Dongwuyuan (Dinosaur Park) CD (Kr) (1998)(Xian Sheng Information) [Strategy, Simulation].zip - only works if mounted as D: (-t cdrom) * Gunmetal (1998)(Mad Genius Software Ltd.) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue under the same name * NAM (Installer) (1998)(GT Interactive Software Corp.) [Action].zip - contains a 486MB file of random garbage called \SUPPORT\NAM.IDF. This file is identical to that file in WWII GI (\SUPPORT\WW2.IDF). Neither of these support files are copied during the installation so they are likely just fluff to fill up the CD contents. The bin-cue copy of NAM, from redump, contains a different NAM.IDF file this time 479MB. * NASCAR Racing CD v1.21 (1998)(Sierra On-Line, Inc.) [Racing - Driving, Simulation, Sports].zip - CD-ZIP of the redump bin-cue of the same name. This can be played without installing if the read only attributes on the files are changed to RW. USA version released under Sierra All-American Sports Series. http://redump.org/disc/30911/ * Normality v1.2 (Installer) (De) (1998)(Bestseller-Games) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIP of the ISO image under the same name. This is bestseller-games issue #24 * Osarium (Es) [a1] (1998)(Stratos) [Action].zip - osa16/8.exe files have been modified, probably for a crack but I have yet to see any protection come up, so I don't know which is cracked and which is not! STRATOS.TXT is a 0 byte file on both- I wonder if this copy is bad. * Paco Attacks vs Germa The Parra-Man v3.47b (Es) [h1] (1998)(Maikel) [Action].zip - it sure looks like someone just changed the credits in the readme.txt file. * Piton (Питон) (Ru) (1998)(R.Vasyukov) [Action].zip - that's not the same as Piton (Питон) (199x)(Anonymous) [Action].zip! * Potbelly Penguin [f1] (1998)(PowellCo) [Action, Strategy].zip - patched/fixed in 2005 for game speed. * Prince of Persia v1.4 (1998)(Brøderbund Software Inc., Red Orb Entertainment) [Adventure, Action].zip - This is taken from the Prince of Persia Collection, and probably should not have been split out. * Puzzle'O'Mania Deluxe Edition (1998)(Shit 4 Brainz) [Strategy, Puzzle].zip - Seem to need very recent DOSBox builds (+ high cycles) * Queen- The eYe (Installer) (1998)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cues under the same name from redump. Unfortunately the other 4 CDs had conflicting filenames so they are included in separate folders inside. The installer only ever asked for CD 1, so it will install and play just fine. The bin-cue files include audio tracks, so it's probably best to mount them anyway. * Quivering, The (Installer) (1998)(Alternative Software Ltd.) [Adventure].zip - CD-ZIPs of the ISOs of the same name, merged into 1 installer. * Rayman par ses Fans v1.01 [b1] (1998)(Ubi Soft Entertainment Software) [Action].zip - Likely a CD-RIP; language selection seems broken and the french version won't show up. Totally playable in English at least. * Red Baron 2573 [f1] (1998)(Adam Stanchos) [Action].zip - patched/fixed in 2005 for game speed. * Risky Woods - Edición Especial v1.1E (Es) (1998)(Dinamic Multimedia, S.A.) [Action].zip - reedition in CD for a collection published in 1998, distributed with a newspaper, called "La colección de videojuegos para PC". This version came without any protection. The game is "preinstalled" in a folder inside the CD (there isn't installation files, it's only the game prepared to run from the CD or from where you want). The big part of the content of that CD are advertisements files related to that collection and another Dinamic Multimedia titles (the game files occupy only 1'36 Mb of 613 Mb). * Sadist (Pl) [FW] (1998)(Studio Komputerowe Gad) [Action].zip - use ustaw.exe to set up sound before running. * Tie Break Tenis 98' (Installer) (Es)(It)(Pt) (1998)(Hammer Technologies) [Action, Sports][!].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue available in TDC's CD image collection. The files 100% matched a different bin-cue dump made from a different copy. * Tie Break Tennis 98' [b1] (1998)(Hammer Technologies) [Action, Sports].zip - CD-RIP, with videos removed, so at the start it'll flicker awhile and then the main menu will appear. This version is in English and does not come from the multi-3 language version above (unless it was just translated into english during the CD-RIP?) * Ultimate Wizardry Archives, The (Installer) (1998)(Interplay Entertainment Corp.) [Role-Playing (RPG), Compilation].zip - CD-ZIP of the bin-cue from redump. Almost identical in content as the [a1] which is a CD-ZIP of the ISO image. * Viper (1998)(Eclipse) [Action].zip - Don't work correctly in DOSBox (they use some seglimit trick to trigger bank swaps, and DOSBox doesn't check for this). They all run fine in bochs and obviously in real DOS. Same issue exists with Greedy (also from Eclipse) but that one was [f]ixed by peterferrie, so it is possible to patch these to work if someone had the inspiration. * Virtua School v1.26c [a1] (1998)(Dana LoDico & Josh Noe) [Adventure].zip - same game, different html file. * Wizardry II- The Knight of Diamonds [DC] (1998)(Sir-tech Software, Inc.) [Role-Playing (RPG)].zip - yes this a 1987 game, but re-released as part of the ultimate wizardry archives in 1998 which is why it's here. This should maybe be removed entirely now that the ultimate wizardry archive is available instead of breaking the pieces out. It's "fixed" release, with different booter that uses two different images: one is identical to old floppy, while other is exclusive for saves, avoiding a problem where too many saved games will corrupt the game disk. Also, old saves "converted" into "legacy characters" that you can use instead importing your characters at all. (Interesting consequence of this is that you can import old saves with help of first Wizardry version and they will be treated as "legacy". :) * Wreckin Crew (Es)(En)(Fr)(De)(It) [b1] (1998)(Telstar Electronic Studios Ltd) [Racing - Driving].zip - Ripped animations, best known dump ==1999== * Adith- The Forgottoh Alchemy (마법소녀 아디스- 마법 대모험) (Kr) (1999)(The Third Wave Publishing Corp.) [Adventure].zip - The installer for this game is a windows executable, but the game itself is DOS, so no (Installer) version of this game will be present. Original bin-cue image exists in TDC though in case an installer is ever needed. * Crazy Brix (1999)(PPPTeam) [Action].zip - Need cycles=max, also very sensitive to sound blaster settings in DOSBox - they *must* match the config created first run, or the game will freeze * Digger Remastered (1999)(Andrew Jenner) [Action].zip - Same .exe file as the 2000 and 2001 version, but the .txt file has been heavily modified. * FastGame (1999)(Digital Murder, Skytech, JFF) [Action].zip - Needs UNIVBE from Scitech Display Doctor v5.3a * Gods (1999)(Crucial Entertainment) [Action].zip - CD-ZIP of the the ccd image also available in TDC. * Guarida Valshar, La (The Valshar's Lair) (En)(Es) (1999)(Jarel) [Adventure, Interactive Fiction].zip - Produced after the v3.0 in 1998, but apparently dropped the version number. * Inmichess v2.17 [b1] (1999)(Inmann Werner) [Strategy, Chess].zip - Simply exits back to DOS prompt when I run it. The 3.0 version works. Best known dump. * Insane Bugs (1999)(Paradise Studios) [Action].zip - Seem to need very recent DOSBox builds (+ high cycles) * Krestiki-Noliki (Крестики-нолики) (Ru) [f1] (1999)(Alexey N. Vinogradov) [Strategy].zip - as issued, the sound driver (sbsound.drv) is bad and was replaced with a better one. "The main problem is the included sound driver, which is the "SB clone" driver from the DIGPAK library. Search online for "DMKIT150.ZIP" and put SB16.COM from that archive renamed to SBSOUND.DRV in the game folder." Old, bad driver file was renamed to sbsound.dr_ * Network Q RAC Rally (Installer) (Fr) (1999)(Europress Software Ltd.) [Racing - Driving, Sports].zip - CD-ZIP of bin-cue from redump under the same name, as detailed here: http://redump.org/disc/68521/ The installer itself seems to be somewhat broken. SImplest path is to copy the "\games" folder to the hard drive and run from there. The other bits appear to be windows based. * NIRA- Intense Import Drag Racing (1999)(Bethesda Softworks LLC) [Racing - Driving, Sports].zip - Start with software.exe not nira.exe. Game crashes on lack of memory for me. * Pizza Worm v2.1g [b1] (1999)(Zorlim Software) [Action].zip - Crashes and says the hiscore file is bad. It appears the file is PWORM.000. The game creates it if it doesn't exist, but still refuses to run. This 1999 version is runtime patched for turbo pascal speed bug. The original version is in 1995, which also doesn't work. * PyroPaddles II v1.4 (1999)(Avishay Yagoda) [Action].zip - I cannot get this to run in dosbox, but I have seen screenshots of it, so I assume it works. * Out of the Park [f1] (1999)(Out of the Park Developments GmbH & Co. KG) [Simulation, Sports].zip - Run OOTPFIX to start the game. The game has a couple of bugs regarding the mouse. First, the mouse handler routine the game sets up sometimes returns with an IRET instead of a RETF like it should, causing seemingly random crashes when you move the mouse during screen transitions. Second, when you quit the game back to DOS, it doesn't disable its mouse handler routine, so if you do anything with the mouse after quitting then there is a crash. The second bug could trigger a crash even if you've arranged for DOSBox to close after the game exits, depending on the user moving the mouse. * Sliding Block Puzzle [FW] (1999)(Loren Blaney) [Strategy, Puzzle].zip - very similar to the 2011 release, but different compiled result. 2011 release included the source code and there has been a history of changes described there. * Sliding Block Puzzle [FW][a1] (1999)(Loren Blaney) [Strategy, Puzzle].zip - built on the same day apparently, but 1/2 the size of the base version. Oddly, the base version is runtime compressed and this one is not?! Missing source code on this release. * Three Sisters' Story [a1] (1999)(JAST USA) [Adventure, Adult].zip - 1 file different, doesn't look like corruption. * Ultima Collection Classic v1.02F (1999)(Electronic Arts, Inc.) [Role-Playing (RPG), Compilation][!].zip - this is the 1999 "classic" re-release. the readme.txt has been changed with the updated name and a few typos fixed in Akalabeth documentation. Looks like an updated copy of direct-x went in as well. This is a CD-ZIP of the bin cue from redump of the same name. This copy bytematched a copy I had locally, so it was bumped up to [!] * Varicella v1.14 [a1] (1999)(Adam Cadre) [Adventure, Interactive Fiction].zip - runtime decompression version * Orda- Severnyi Veter (Оpдa- Северный ветер) v5.0 (Ru) (1999)(Buka Entertainment) [Strategy].zip - need 32 mb memsize in dos-box config
