To create a ghostscript application for QNX4, upload the following files:

2924296429     982025 ghostscript-2.6.2.tgz         (Nov 22  1995)
3467656743    1706030 ghostscript-fonts.tgz   (Nov 22  1995)
3769112781      38538 qnx_gs262.tgz                 (Apr 24  1996)


1) Unpack the "ghostscript-2.6.2.tgz" and "qnx_gs262.tgz" files.

   -->    gunzip -c <ghostscript-2.6.2.tgz | pax -rv -f-
   -->    gunzip -c <qnx_gs262.tgz | pax -rv -f-

   This will create a "gs262" directory with all the necessary 
   files to compile the program.

   NOTE:  Unpack the "ghostscript-2.6.2.tgz" archive first, since 
          the "qnx_gs262.tgz" overwrites some of the files in the 
          original archive.

2) Enter the gs262 directory and make the appropriate version
   for your system:

         for photon:        -->make photon
             X-windows:     -->make x11
             QNX-windows:   -->make qwindows
             photon&x11:    -->make xphoton
             photon&qwin:   -->make qwphoton

   for ghostscript without any graphics drivers:   --> make ghostscript


3) Once the program has finished compiling, it is necessary to 
   install the libraries.  By default, the libraries will be 
   placed in the "/usr/local/lib/ghostscript" directory; and
                 ============================
   the executables ("bdftops", "font2c", "ps2ascii", "ps2epsi", "gsdj", 
   "gslj", "gslp", "gsnd", "gs", and "gsbj")  in "/usr/local/bin".

   Check that this will not clobber anything important, and type:

   -->   make install
    
4) Change directories to "/usr/local/lib/ghostscript" and install the fonts.

   -->  cd /usr/local/lib/ghostscript
   -->  gunzip -c <ghostscript-fonts.tgz | pax -rv -f-


Any you are done.
