     Mpack and munpack are utilities for encoding and decoding
     (respectively) binary files in MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail
     Extensions) format mail messages.  For compatibility with older forms
     of transferring binary files, the munpack program can also decode
     messages in split-uuencoded format.  The Macintosh version can also
     decode messages in split-BinHex format.

     This version is an extension of version 1.5. An offer of diffs has
     been submitted to the maintainers, without response as of this
     posting.

     Changes: addition of ANSI-C function prototypes and corrections
              to some procedure calls, with various minor non-functional
              changes to get an error and warning free build using
              WATCOM C V10.6; addition of support in munpack for
              recognition and unpacking of message parts having
              content-transfer-type x-uuencode; conditional compilation
              to exclude calls to gethost(by)name(), so as to permit
              building on systems which don't have the TCP/IP libraries.

              For QNX4 users, use messages are in mpack.usemsg and
              munpack.usemsg.
