1) Presentation

   This free software implements chatrooms on a QNX LAN (fleet).

2) Installation
  
   To install the archive:
      gzip -cd life.tgz | pax -vr

3) Notes on the server (chatrooms_server)

   The server must have some privileges. To work, you must do the next thing
   while being root:
          chmod a+s chatrooms_server
          chown root chatrooms_server

4) OS/Photon/Compiler versions
   
   The game has been successfully been tested under QNX 4.2[3,4], 
   Photon 1.[12,13], and compiled with Watcom C Compiler v10.6.

   The executable into the archive is compiled with photon 1.12 (slib).
   It does *not* run under photon 1.10 or 1.11. The main reason is that
   the PxConfig functions are used and were introduced with Photon 1.12
