This README documents the installation procedure for OS/2* Warp Version 3.0
support for Microsoft's** Win32s** levels 1.15 through 1.25.

There are 2 versions of Microsoft Win32s 1.25.

1). Version 1.25 level 100 (referred to as Win2s 1.25a)

2). Version 1.25 level 110 (referred to as Win32s 1.25b)

You will need to know whether you have 1.25a or 1.25b installed on
your machine in order to get Win32s 1.25 applications to work under WIN-OS/2*.

There is a VW32S.SYS device statement in OS/2's CONFIG.SYS.  For OS/2 support
of Win32s 1.25, you will need to add a parameter to that statement as
described below in the installation instructions.

If you have Win32s 1.25a installed, the parameter to specify on the device
statement in OS/2's CONFIG.SYS for VW32S.SYS is "1,25,100".

If you have Win32S 1.25b installed, you have the option of specifying
"1,25,110" on the VW32S.SYS device statement, as these values are the
default.

INSTALLATION
------------
1).Copy VW32S.SYS to your root directory

     copy vw32s.sys <DRIVE>:\VW32S.SYS

2).Edit CONFIG.SYS, first by REMing out the existing
      DEVICE=<DRIVE>:\OS2\MDOS\VW32S.SYS

   and add a new DEVICE= statement

     rem DEVICE=<DRIVE>:\OS2\MDOS\VW32S.SYS
     DEVICE=<DRIVE>:\VW32S.SYS 1,25,110

Note: If there is a mismatch between the parameter specified on the device
statement and the level of Win32s 1.25 support from Microsoft installed on the
machine, you may be prompted with an error dialog box when running Win32s 1.25
apps. The message in the dialog box will indicate that components of code are
at an old level.

3).Reboot the machine to make the change take effect.
