- START.EXE IBM Internal 1993
DOS program starting programs from within MDOS.

%1 supports all parameters inclusive /WAIT both for starting DOS programs

For a DOS settings file as specified by the parameter /DOS[:settings.dat]
both a simple ASCII file with environment variables (each line with
"variable=value") and as well a settings file generated by the Workplace Shell
can be used.
