**************************************************

This package update corrects a problem with the Mult-interface
TCP/IP widget script install in the initial release. Use Warpin
to uninstall the Muli-Interface widget if installed and then
reinstall the widget using this package.

This Warpin program has been put together to aid
eComstation users in installing and uninstalling widgets for
eCenter. Do not try to install these widgets to XWorplace
since eCS installs it's Enhanced Workplace files in different
locations on your hard drive than XWorplace.

I did not write the widgets, so don't contact me about not
liking a widget or it crashing your system. However, if you
find a problem with the installation of the widgets, let me
know and I will try to correct the problem.

I have tried to test as many widgets as possible, however,
there are some I have not been able to test since I
don't use the programs.

Several widgets I had to delete from the package because
they were locking and crashing my eCS system. A couple
caused me to restore a backup image of my system. This has
delayed the release of this package while I replaced these
widgets with others.

You will need Warpin, the new general-purpose installer for
both eComStation and OS/2. It can be downloaded from

http://www.xworkplace.org/

If you need a specific widget, you may want to check out

http://www.os2usr.org/xcenter/

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

After any new widget(s) is installed to the eCenter, eCenter must be
closed and restarted for the new widgets to be recognized.

You MUST install the spacer widget for the remaining packages
to install correctly. The widget folders are created when this
package is installed.

Do NOT de-install the spacer widget unless you plan on de-installing
all the widget packages. If you do plan on de-installing all the
widget packages, de-install all the widget packages except for the
spacer widget. Only after you have de-installed the other widget
packages can you safely de-install the spacer widget without
creating a bunch of error messages in Warpin.

If using the trashcan in eCS's enhanced WPS, delete its contents
before installing the packages. If you had deleted the entire package
before without emptying the trashcan and want to re-install,
the packages will be installed to the Widget folders located in
the trashcan.

I highly recommend that you install one of the REXX gauge widgets
from the Widgets Scripts folder. Install any with the *.wgt
extension. I have found that if the WPS crashes, there is a good
chance the REXXUtil function is no longer installed and some
widgets on the eCenter will start posting REXX error messages
when selected. I have now modified the *.wgt scripts to check
for the REXXUtil function and if not found install it.

As always, back up your WPS before installing. Using the
built in archive feature of eComStation is a good way of
doing this.
