Hello Igor Mahtin,

Please follow these steps to download GEAR software and obtain your 60-day trial license: 

1.  Download the software from: ftp://downloads.gearsoftware.com/demos/unix/Archive/v411/geargui411demo_irix62-65_20020304.tar

2.  Use gunzip, and then use tar- tar xvf (never WinZip) to unpack.  As root, run the included install script.  (i.e. ./install)

3.  After installation is complete, run "geargui" from the command line

4.  Click on "Get trial license" and fill in the requested information.  When finished, click "Save".  

5.  Choose the directory where you want this file saved.  GEAR will now save a license request file (named GEAR.lrq) to your hard disk

6.  Email* the file saved in Step 5 AS AN ATTACHMENT ONLY to:  trial_license@gearsoftware.com

* The trial license email address contains an "underscore" between the words "trial" and "license" @gearsoftware.com

GEAR will then reply to your email with a trial license key that will unlock your copy of GEAR PRO UNIX.  The trial version will last for sixty (60) days.  
 
Important Note:  GEAR issues your Trial License using an automated process.  IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR TRIAL LICENSE WITHIN ONE HOUR PLEASE SEND YOUR GEAR.LRQ FILE (as an attachment) TO support@gearsoftware.com.   GEAR's support staff will reply to you by the next business day.
