THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF DESIGN, MERCHANTIBILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE OR TRADE PRACTICE. The current 2@800x600_60 and 2@800x486_30i sdb files that are shipped with patch 1447 do not work correctly. The blue information is missing from the screen. The tar file impact_ico_sdb.tar contains new versions of these sdb files and associated files to drive the display correctly. This tar file also makes a minor modification to the 2@1160x960_30qi, 2@1024x946_30qi, and 2@880x808_30qi formats. The rising edge of vertical sync was slightly mis-aligned. The problem was not visible on any monitors tested, but is corrected none-the-less. The tar file should be installed after patches 1406 and 1447. Please install 1406 and 1447 first. Then, to use this tar file, become root and down-load the tar file to /tmp/impact_ico_sdb.tar. Unpack this file using the command: tar -xvpf /tmp/impact_ico_sdb.tar This will install a new version of the sdb files and associated files to drive the 2@800x600_60 and 2@800x486_30i formats: /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/FPGA/fpgas.two.rbf /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2@800x486_30i.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2@800x600_60.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2@800x600_60_ext.sdb Files replaced to update the 2@1160x960_30qi, 2@1024x946_30qi, and 2@880x808_30qi formats: /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2@1024x946_30qi.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2@880x808_30qi.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2RSS/mgras_two_1025x946FS_mco.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2RSS/mgras_two_1160x960FS_mco.sdb /usr/gfx/ucode/MGRAS/vof/cmb/2RSS/mgras_two_875x808FS_mco.sdb After the new sdb files have been installed, the X server must be restarted in order to use the new files. This can be done with the following command: /usr/gfx/stopgfx; /usr/gfx/startgfx
