The following files and subdirectories are contained in this directory:

DPTFMT.EXE:    This file is a CMOS set-up and low-level format utility,
               supporting all DPT products, including the PM3011, PM2001, and
               PM2012. Use of this program is detailed in the Installation
               Manual.

               Command line options are as follows:
               /MONO      run in black and white only.
               /CUSTOM    allow custom drive paramters.
               /STAND     include the BIOS type in Drive List.
               /INQ       display Inquiry information and exit.
               /NMM       do not merge MFM and RLL drive models.
               /EXT       allow drives 2 and 3 on SCSI controllers.


DPTRMFMT.EXE:  This file will remove the reserved block on a disk formatted with
               DPTFMT.  This should never be necessary and will destroy all
               operating system parititions.  Only use this file if directed to
               do so by DPT Technical Support.  (This program is currently only
               supported on the PM3011).

DPTMIR.EXE:    This file will enable or disable disk mirroring, a feature
               available from DPT and its distributors.  Use of this program is
               detailed in the Mirroring Installation Manual.  (This program is
	       currently only supported on the PM3011)

DPTSPAN.EXE:   This file is the DPT Span Management Utility. The DPT Span
               option allows you to add or delete logical drives to/from the
               drive chain displayed on the screen. The add option allows you
               to add any logical drive from the available drive list to the
               drive chain of your choice. The delete option allows you to
               delete any logical drive from the physical C: or D: drive
               chain.


SELFTEST.COM:  This file will perform controller diagnostics and display the
               results.

               USAGE: SELFTEST [IOBASE ADDRESS]
                      default is 1F0


\CDROM:        This subdirectory contains SCSI CD-ROM drivers.

\OEMDISK:      This subdirectory contains operating system specific driver
               diskette images.

\DRIVER        This subdirectory contains DOS programms for portable data
               storage devices.

\PM3011:       This subdirectory contains an optional EISA configuration file.

\PM2012:       This subdirectory contains programs necessary for installing
               the PM2012/9X EISA to SCSI Host Bus Adapter.
