*	DOS Workstation IPX driver

*******************************************************

File BTEIPX.COM is a WorkStation IPX.COM driver. It has been configured
as "SELF CONFIGURATION". Program will be able to detect switch setting
and configure the workstation LAN driver automatically.
Copy DOS IPX driver (BTEIPX.COM) to your <C:> drive.
Load the DOS IPX LAN driver for BT-560A/T or BT-763E ethernet adapter driver:

	BTEIPX <CR>
	NETX <CR>

See Novell Shell-gen or Workstation-gen for more detail if you need to
regenerate the DOS IPX driver.

*
*	LAN Driver for NetWare 286 file server v1.15 or v2.20
*
******************************************************************

Netware 286 v2.20 installation procedures:
     -	Make a duplicate copy of the SYSTEM-1 Netware installation diskette
     - Copy file "BTE22.LAN" from BT560/763 driver diskette into the
	Netware SYSTEM-1 diskette.
     -	Follow Netware installation procedures to install Netware 286

File BTE22.LAN and (ABTE22,BBTE22,CBTE22,DBTE22.OBJ) are for
Netware 286 v2.15 or higher. They have built-in features to Auto-Scan
the switch settings or EISA configuration to configure the driver.

For Netware 286 v2.1x and 2.20 IPX driver:
We recommend that you configure the BTE22 LAN driver to:

	First Software Configured Adapter

If more than one BT-560/763 Adapter is installed, then configure the second
BT-560/763 adapter (LAN-B) driver as:

	Second Software Configured Adapter

If you install a third BT-560/763 adapter, then configure it as :

	Third Software Configured Adapter

The BTE22 LAN Device Driver scans for the BT-763 starting from slot 1 to 15;
Then scans the BT-560A/T I/O port base from High to Low; After this, the
assigned LAN drivers are ordered by Slot or I/O port as listed below:

	I/O Port:	340h
			320h
			300h
			160h
			140h
			120h
			100h

As a result, the First Software Configured Driver will be assigned as the
EISA slot or highest I/O port, whichever it finds first.

Use "CONFIG" command at system Console to view the Detail information,
about Slot#, I/O port base, IRQ, DMA assigment of each LAN driver.

Note: These new Drivers will force all BusLogic Bs-560/763 Ethernet adapter
to conform to IEEE assigned node ID. If you upgrade your existing
workstation software driver, make sure to preset your workstation
Configuration to use the new Ethernet node ID.
Use DCONFIG to select configuration other than Configuration-0,
or use JUMPERS utility to configure the workstation driver to the
corresponding switch settings (I/O Address, IRQ, DMA).

The NET.CFG file is used by the various ODI modules to obtain the network
system configuration information at initialization time. So, if you want
to override the default settings, create a NET.CFG file with the following
possible parameters for the Driver 560/763.

DMA [#n] channel e.g. DMA #1 7

Int [#n] line e.g. Int #1 9

Port [#n] addr [range] e.g. Port 300

Slot n e.g. Slot 3

Node Address h e.g. Node Address 004034001234

Frame <name> e.g. Frame Ethernet_II

Protocol <name> h <frame type> e.g. Protocol IPX 8137 Ethernet_II

; Example NET.CFG file; this file is functional, it
; uses hardware settings other than default as well
; as a Node Address override. It also shows how to
; create this file if more than 1 card is installed
; in the workstation.

BT-560 A/T PC/TCP Packet Driver is based on Revision 1.09 specification

This software driver was tested with PC-210 FTP software.
	- Install the PC-210 FTP software in your system.
Please refer to your PC/TCP installation guide.
	- Install BT-560A/T Ethernet adapter. Please refer
to BT-560 A/T Installation guide to set up Switches
relating to Interrupts, DMA, and I/O port address.

Default switches setting are:	Interrupt = 15
					I/O port = 0x340
					DMA	  = 7

BT-560 Packet Driver BETA release.

The driver will scan the switch settings on the adapter to determine
the adapter configurations such as: I/O port address, Interrupt channel,
and DMA channel.

   Usage: BT560PD [-n] [-d] [-w] <packet_int_no> <io_addr>

Example: Type the following command to execute BT560 Packet Driver

	     BT560PD 0x60

   Notes: Command line options
	[-n] = Novell protocol conversion
[-d] = Delay Packet device driver initialization
	[-w] = Windows upcall checking.
	<packet_int_no> in the range 0x60 to 0x80
	<io_addr> = 0x340, 0x320, 0x300, 0x160, 0x140, 0x120, 0x100
If the system is configured with more than one BT-560, then the user
must specify the <io_addr> of the adapter. Otherwise Autoscan
will be allocated to the first BT-560 adapter found on the base
	I/O port address listed above.
