Problems when using a 56k modem:

• Ask your ISP if they support the V.90 standard.
• Ask your Modem manufacture if they have the update to the V.90 standard for your modem.
• The V.90 update should improve your connection speed to the internet (provided your ISP supports this standard), and fix connection problems when playing games on line.

  If you have a US Robotics 56k modem and are unable to connect to modem games created on another system, you most likely have a corrupted modem driver. To fix this problem and update your modem:

  • Un-install and reinstall your original modem drivers
  • Download and run the Modem Upgrade Wizard from US Robotics. This will ensure that you have the latest drivers and updates.

    For help installing the update, please contact US Robotics. You should also contact your Internet Service Provider to make sure they support the v.90 standard for 56k modems.
