TAPI configuration for modems

• Your modem needs to be configured correctly in Windows for it to work with Starcraft
• Make sure that both players have the latest patch installed.

• Starcraft uses the TAPI interface system to access the modem. TAPI is a standardized interface for modems and other phone devices. If you are not sure if your modem is TAPI compliant, you can check by doing the following:
  • Click the Start button
  • Select Settings
  • Select Control Panel
  • Look for a "Modems" icon in the Control Panel. If it is there, double-click on it.
  • Look for your modem in the list
• If there is no Modem icon or if your modem is not in the Modem list, your modem is not TAPI compliant or is not configured properly.
  • To enable the TAPI features of your modem, contact your modem manufacturer, or if the modem came with your system, contact your computer manufacturer. They will also be able to help you ensure that your modem is configured properly.
