This is a Debian Linux prepackaged version of suck.
suck was written by Tim Smith (Unknown Address),
maintained by Sven Goldt <goldt@math.tu-berlin.de> (March 1995),
and Robert A. Yetman <boby@pixi.com> (since July 1995).

This package was put together by Christophe Le Bars <clebars@debian.org>,
from sources obtained from:
 sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/system/Mail/news/suck-3.3.2.tar.gz

The following changed were made :
        * addition of the Debian package maintenance system
	* new features for the get-news script

suck is a public domain software.

This suck package was compiled with this defaults options:

Timeout if no read after 60 seconds.

Character used in killfiles to tell if we should do a
case sensitive compare: '"' (It can be overridden in a killfile).

The kill/keep file routine keep articles that are both flagged as
delete and keep (either by matching both a delete group and a keep group,
or by not matching both a delete group and keep group).

These locations can be overriden from command line :
	default location of Temp Files: "/var/lib/suck";
	default location of config Files: "/etc/suck";
	default location of articles produced by suck,
	if multifile option selected: "/var/lib/suck/msg".
