This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of the FSF's GNU ptx
utility. This package provides a permuted index generator to the
user of Debian.

This package was put together by me, Dominik Kubla
<Dominik.Kubla@Uni-MAinz.DE>, from the GNU sources, which I obtained
from ftp.uni-mainz.de:/pub/gnu/ptx/ptx-0.4.tar.gz. The changes were
very minimal - merely adding support for the Debian package
maintenance scheme, by adding various debian/* files.
