Desktop On-Call support following Linux as a host PC:
X-termial is commonly used for remote operation. In this case, the screen is only displayed at X-termial side. If you use Desktop On-Call, you can share the the screen between your host PC side and the guest PC side. Therefore it is useful for guiding operations or communication using the shared screen.
2 userIDs, Linux userID and "guest" userID, can be used for Desktop On-Call Linux version userID.
The remote control works faster than previous version.
Greeting text chat function enables you to
make some communication before remote
control
session. This greeting text conversation
makes easy to start help service session.
If you do not want interrupting by the
text
chat panel, you can set text chat disable.
Auto Launch map panel has text chat column.
So you can check a host PC's status of
text
chat. If you find a host PC's text chat
is
enabled, you can talk by clicking the
host
PC.
Desktop On-Call uses several ports. Desktop On-Call V4 allow to change these port numbers by properties panel.
