Technical information of Linux version

• When you use the virtual screen on Linux, Desktop On-Call displays the whole screen on a browser.
• Alt + a mouse button operation works as 3rd button, when you use 2 buttons mouse.
• When you can not get connection even if you re-started your browser after your browser is stack due to some reasons, you have to re-start the host PC's Desktop On-Call. You can re-start Desktop On-Call if you have telnet in your Linux host PC.

Limitations of Linux version

• Greeting Text chat is not supported when Linux is a host PC.
• Do not log out your Linux by remote control operation. You can do nothing if your Linus host pc displays the log out panel.
• Virtual console switching(Ctrl+Alt+F1 or Ctrl+Alt+F2, ..), and the resolution change(Ctrl+Alt++) can not be used from remote side.

Multi-display

Desktop On-Call does not support multi-display of Windows 98.

Recovery action when you open a fullscreen session

Desktop On-Call does not support fullscreen mode. If you have opened a fullscreen session, do the following:

• If the host PC is Windows 95/98

  Press Alt + Enter

• If the host PC is OS/2

  Press Ctrl+Esc

Do not change Display mode from remote

If you change the display mode from a remote location, the display testing mode of the new display setting is sometimes not displayed properly. Therefore youi are not recommended to change the display mode from a remote location.

"Java.Lang.OutofMemoryError"

"Java.Lang.OutofMemoryError" may be displayed when the guest PC has insufficient memory. To solve this problem, try the following:

• Keep a sufficient large swap area in the guest PC.
• Set the guest PC's display mode to 256 colors when the display mode is 32K colors.
• Set alower resolution on the host PC.
• Add memory to to the guest PC.

A movie panel may not be displayed properly.

A movie panel, such as the Quick Time panel, may not be displayed properly (black square) if you are using a H/W direct drawing function.
