'Update server' is the server that keeps the version check program to check the installed system level and the actual update program of 'Desktop On-Call'. The default server is prepared on Internet. The user can have his own server.
To access the server properly, the connection setup is mandatory such as using browser to access Internet.
Update server setup is done in the property panel.
