1. Installation

   The DOSSETUP utility optionally installs Windows 32-bit Disk Access
device driver(I61CTRL.386) and Initio ASPI for Windows device driver
(WINASPI.DLL).

2.  32-Bit Disk Access Driver

   - 32-Bit Disk Access Driver works under Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11, and
      Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

   - 32-Bit Disk Access Driver needs DOS ASPI (ISPI610.SYS) to function
      properly.

   - 32-Bit Disk Access Driver only improves disk performance a little under
      Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11. However, by enableing 32-Bit Disk Access
      and 32-Bit File Access under WIndows for Workgroups 3.11, you can expect
      larger performance gains.

   - Because INI-6102/6100 can only transfer data on the first 16 MBytes
      memory through ISA bus, 32-Bit Disk Access driver (I61CTRL.386) will not
      work properly if your system has more than 16 MBytes of RAM. You should
      consider using INITIO INI-9100 PCI SCSI Host Adapter which can tansfer
      data up to 4 GBytes address space.

   - If you can not bring up Windows after installing initio 32-Bit Disk
      Access device driver, use the following command line to temporary
      disable 32-Bit Disk Access:

      win /d:f [ENTER]

   - If you would like to permantaly disable 32-Bit Disk Access, remove the
      following lines from the [386Enh] section in the SYSTEM.INI file:

      DEVICE=INT13.386
      DEVICE=I61CTRL.386

3. ASPI for Windows

   - Initio Windows ASPI Driver (WINASPI.DLL) needs DOS ASPI Driver
      (ISPI610.SYS) and 32-Bit Disk Access Driver to work properly.

   - Initio Windows ASPI Driver only functions under Windows Enchance mode.
