MapArt Volume 1 is a comprehensive set that includes 4 world maps, 13 regional maps, and invididual maps of 29 major countries.  Volume 1 has been updated to show new political boundaries in the former USSR and Yugoslavia.

MapArt Volume 1 is available in Macintosh EPS and PICT formats, as well as EPS for DOS/Windows, and EPS for NeXT.  Volume 1 is also available on CD Rom.

The sample map files in this folder are Adobe Illustrator 1.1 EPS files (.EPS), which may be opened and edited with any version of Illustrator, or FreeHand.  EPS files may also be Placed into most Desktop Publishing programs such as PageMaker and Quark XPress.

To open and edit the maps requires: 

 Macintosh EPS - Adobe Illustrator, Aldus FreeHand, Canvas 3.0.3, or publishing software.
 Macintosh PICT - MacDraw, Canvas, or SuperPaint
 PC EPS - Micrographics Designer, Arts & Letters, or COREL DRAW
 NeXT EPS - Adobe Illustrator or any program that accepts PostScript files
 MapArt CD-ROM - All the above formats.  Requires CD-ROM drive.
