1.   INSTALLATION NOTES
     ------------------
     1.1  Support for Windows Media Audio (WMA) Playback in 
          Windows 95/NT 4.0

          RemoteCenter requires Window 95 OSR 2 and above, or 
          Windows NT with Service Pack 6 and above, to play back 
          WMA files.

          The following WMA components will not be installed for
          Windows 95 (retail version) and all versions of Windows NT:

             WMFADist.exe
             WMDMDist.exe

          (For Windows 95)
          If you upgraded your Windows 95 to OSR 2 after the 
          RemoteCenter installation, look for these components in the 
          installation package and run them. Or you can re-install 
          RemoteCenter to enable WMA files playback.

          (For Windows NT with Service Pack 6 and above)
          Look for these components in the installation package and 
          run them.        


     1.2  Support for Animated Splash Screens and Audio Scenes

          If the Macromedia Flash Player is installed in your system, 
          RemoteCenter will have the following additional features:
          
          - Animated splash screens
          - Animated audio scenes when playing audio files (if LAVA! 
            scenes are not selected)

          You can download the latest Macromedia Flash player at 
          http://www.macromedia.com/


     1.3  Support for LAVA! Playback

          RemoteCenter requires LAVA! Player version 2.5 and above to 
          display LAVA! scenes. To enable LAVA! display, run the 
          RemoteCenter Manager, select the RemoteCenter Player page, 
          and select the "Always set audio files to show Random LAVA! 
          visuals" box.


     1.4  Support for DVD Playback

          RemoteCenter can play back DVD disc if you have Creative 
          PC-DVD Encore installed in your system. If you encounter any 
          problem with DVD playback, please visit www.creative.com to 
          download the latest PC-DVD software components.
