Installation Instructions
-------------------------
1.  Insert the Service Pack CD into the CD-ROM drive of the Windows for
    Workgroups computer.
2.  At the Windows for Workgroups Command Prompt, change to that CD-ROM
    drive and then type the following:

    COPY \SUPPORT\VREDIR\*.386 %WINDIR%\SYSTEM

    where %WINDIR% represents the location of your Windows for Workgroups 
    installation (i.e., C:\WINDOWS).


User Notes
----------
The following information details what is necessary to enable the
performance functionality provided by these new files.

A new switch, TurboMode, has been enabled in Service Pack 2 for the
[network] section of SYSTEM.INI for Windows for Workgroups.

[network]
TurboMode = 0 or 1

TurboMode controls the data-flushing behavior of the client.
    A setting of 0 ensures that the data is on the server disk before
    the Flush API returns.
    A setting of 1 ensures that the data has been sent to the server, 
    allows the server to place the data on its disk later, and may enhance
    client performance.  
    The default value is 0.

To enable this switch, first follow the preceding installation instructions.
You must then edit SYSTEM.INI, add the TurboMode switch (setting it to 0 or
1), and reboot the Windows for Workgroups computer.
