RESCUE.TXT

This disk contains the necessary files to boot your computer and run PQMAGICT
(PartitionMagic text mode version).   This disk will be useful in the
following situations:

-If you have hidden the hard disk partition where PartitionMagic is installed
and need to get back into PartitionMagic to unhide the partition.

-If you have accidently converted a partition to FAT32 when your operating
system does not support FAT32 and now your computer will not boot.  (Use
PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette to convert the partition back to FAT.)

-If you only have Windows NT on your computer.

-If other occasions arise when you do not have access to PartitionMagic on
the CD or hard drive.

        
To use the PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette:

1. Boot your computer using the PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette 

PQMAGICT has the same functionality as PQMAGIC.EXE, the graphical version of
PartitionMagic.  When you run PQMAGICT you will be given a series of text
prompts.  Enter the letters or numbers next to the different options as you
go through the menus.  You can go back to the main menu at any time by
pressing the ESC key.  For solutions to other common problems, refer to
Appendix B in the PartitionMagic 3.0 manual.  For step by step scenarios on
partitioning your hard drive see Chapter 2 in the PartitionMagic 3.0 Manual,
