Configure TFTPD Authorization Page

Use this page to allow or deny access to specific files, or sub-directories, or both on the system. The alias name associated with a directory or file can be specified, if required. The TFTP server validates access to the directory or file requested by the TFTP client, by matching the file name requested and the name specified to ALLOW or DENY statements. If an alias is specified, it checks for a match with the alias first, and then looks for the directory name specified on the line is looked for.

The push buttons on this page are:

Add
Inserts, in the list box, access rights to the required directory or file, and the alias name associated with the directory or file, if any. When you click the Add push button, the Entry window appears.

The fields on this window are:

Directory
Specifies the absolute path name for the directory if the access type is ALLOW. If the access type is DENY, you can specify the absolute or relative path name of the directory. This field is required.

Alias
Specifies the alias name for the directory or file, if one exists. This field is optional and you can use it only with ALLOW statements.

The radio-buttons on this window are:

  • Allow access

  • Deny access

OK
Closes the window and saves any changes.

Cancel
Closes the window and discards any changes.

Help
Provides help information for this notebook page.

Change
Modifies the entry you selected in the list box. When you select the Change push button, the Entry window appears.

The fields you can change from this window are:

Directory
Specifies the absolute path name for the directory if the access type is ALLOW. If the access type is DENY, you can specify the absolute or relative path name of the directory can be specified. This field is required.

Alias
Specifies the alias name for the directory or file, if one exists. This field is optional and you can use it only with ALLOW statements.

  • Deny access

OK
Closes the window and saves any changes.

Cancel
Closes the window and discards any changes.

Help
Provides help information for this notebook page.

Delete
Erases the list box entry you selected, which will be displayed in a Delete window. You cannot modify the displayed entry; click OK to delete it, or Cancel to close the window without deleting.

Undo
Removes any changes made since you last accessed this page.

OK
Close the TCP/IP Configuration Notebook and saves all changes made since you opened it.

Cancel
Closes the TCP/IP Configuration Notebook and discards any changes made since you opened it.
